We came into town for a wedding from Texas. The easy thing would have been to go to Tim Horton's and get mass produced, soulless donuts. We opted to try this mom and pop shop and are so glad we did! There's a great variety of great donuts and baked goodies. Everyone was super friendly and nice. Everything we brought back to the house solicited a "Wow!"
This Portuguese bakery offers many delicious baked goods; a good variety of bread loaves, toast breads, baguette, tea biscuits, bagels, strudel, donuts, turnovers, cannolis, Portuguese tart Pasteis De Nata, cheesecake, cake, etc. Inside the store smells really nice! especially in the mornings. Donuts are very delicious, dough is soft, moist and chewy, the fillings and toppings are perfectly balanced. I really loved the cannolis, too. It would definitely be my go to for baked goods.
I have heard amazing things about this bakery so I decided to pop by and grab some donuts and treats for my husband's birthday. I was not disappointed! They have an amazing selection of goods and I had to stop myself from buying one of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even offered to write happy birthday on the box! The apple fritters are to die for - I will definitely be recommending this bakery to everyone I know!!
I saw reviews for the bakery on Google and decided to go, I was not disappointed at all! The aroma of fresh baked breads, the pastries and baked goodies are just the perfect antidote to Canadian winters. I got some bagels, chibatta and donuts with a coffee this time and each one of them was yummy! Perfect spot to try for anyone on the lookout for mom&pop style bakery
Not your typical Portuguese Bakery. Wide variety of treats. The pasties De Nata are very good and so are the orange pastries. Looking forward to taste the rest!
Only had the espresso and it was ok but not close to the quality of bakeries in Toronto
I visited Aveiro bakery many years ago when they had their location at Applewood Plaza, my Oma grandma and I used to visit often, and the owner Priscilla was always so kind! My Oma passed away 5 years ago, but will always remember those memories of us visiting together and always enjoying the treats! This afternoon, I stopped by, and got a few goodies for myself and my co workers who have grown fondly to love Aveiro bakery! The goodies are always so delicious. I cannot wait to visit again! Was driving by this plaza and stopped by to go into the connivence store. Was waking by this place and seen a massive line up inside. So my curiosity led me in and came to know that this is a very well known bakery. Spoke to the owner and she was very pleasant and helpful. She suggested that I get their almond cookie, coffee, pizza bread and apple fritter. Once I sad down outside their patio and enjoyed both the food and weather. Highly recommended!!!
Very rude and bad Customar service she charge me twice for crosant I asked Nutella crosant she give me wrong when I call she said it’s ok I will give you more don’t bring it back when I am come back she charge me again I will never recommend anyone to go to this location please fix it other wise you will lose a lot of Customar
Do not skip out on this hidden gem! The most fresh authentic Portuguese pastries in Oakville! From donuts, to flan, croissants, and fresh bread. You can always find something for that sweet tooth of yours. This hard working couple has never stopped with all changes to local businesses and we can't help but thank them for their continued service during these times. Beijinhos and all the success.
