Best place for elderly. Specially butterfly approach gives more freedom to residents to feel care home as their home. I loved staff here. Management is very active and quick to follow up on any issues regarding resident.
Older facility with a new one scheduled to be built. Building has some shortcoming because of its age. PSW and nursing staff are top notch. Administration and support staff are quick to address concerns. Highly recommend this long term care facility based on the people who work there.
This is an older facility so it wasn’t my first choice but I now realize how fortunate we were when my mother in law was placed there. She received excellent care. Our experience with my father in law in a newer facility in Brampton has been absolutely horrible. Avalon is a great place for your loved one!
Mom, a retired nurse, was well cared for by all the Avalon staff. She loved it there, and we were very happy with how well they treated her.
The staff are excellent, courteous and friendly. I visit Avalon most days and I recommend this place whether you are a visitor or a patient.
