Google search showed that practically every restaurant in town seems to serve a variety of pizza and poutine. Aux Lubies Gourmandes is a very appealing change. Food was great, the service was excellent. Strongly recommend if you want something light and delicious. They seem to have some nice options for vegetarians and vegans on the menu too!
Our family had such an amazing culinary experience at Aux Lubies Gourmandes. The food was so fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. The owners were incredibly friendly and allowed us to sample various preserves from local orchards and farms that you can also purchase at their restaurant. We would highly recommend everyone to stop by and experience this local gem!
Thank you, Yelp! What a truly phenomenal establishment run by a sweet, accommodating woman and her helpful husband. Incredibly well-prepared, creative food presented with a level of love, care and pride not frequently found in restaurants. A unique little shop with a wide array of teas and European and Quebecois products complimented a wonderful lunch experience. This is a place you go out of your way to visit; I know we'll be back. The coffee was fantastic as well.
Food and service doesn’t get any better than this. Without a doubt and without exaggeration the best we have had in Canada. A meal as it should be, great tastes and good company.
Great little bistro where you'll get amazing fresh meals wether it's breakfast or lunch. Original and tasty offerings. I had the porchetta sandwich. It was perfect! Great service by family-owned staff. Do come everytime you ate in downtown Lachute. You will be happy you did.Food: 5/5
WHAT A FIND!!! My two sons and I happened upon this place by accident and are so glad we did. My 18 yo son and I both rank this as one of the best dining experiences we have EVER had and we eat out quite a bit. We got the paninis eggplant for me, porchetta for 18 yo, chicken for 21 yo with the Tuscan salads. So delicious - fresh, simple enough to let the ingredients shine through but expertly prepared. We finished with the sugar pie and a date square which all agreed we’re fabulous. Beyond the wonderful food, the experience was wonderful. The owners/hosts made us feel like we had been invited into their own home for a social meal. They were so welcoming and friendly, and brought us so many samplings of wonderful things to try that they sell in their adjoining store. We bought three bottles of maple water, pistachio cream and hazelnut cream to take back to the US with us to remember this experience. We would love to return anytime we are in the area. Thank you so much to both of you!
Great little Bistro. Coffee was excellent. We had egg sandwiches and took lunch sandwiches to go. Everything was fresh. The owner was so hospitable and attentive. Will definitely go back if in the area again!
Want a breakfast, with delicious food, fantastic attentive service... You found it. Coffee locally roasted. I am always asking my wife to just let us "find" eats without googles help... I AM WRONG... we found this paradise because she used google.
One of the loveliest places in Lachute. In the summer there are some tables on the terrace. The food is unique, mostly bio. Menu of the day includes great soups. Sandwiches and salads are lovely. The coffee is great. There is a little boutique of foods in jars, and body care items. All make lovely gifts. Have to go back to take photos.
