Stayed for 2 nights, in red room was nice, clean but air conditioning in window didn't work well. The curtains where in front of air conditioner and at 5 am the shine shone in. Need to replace or put in a blind. The breakfast was amazing with great service. We also had a fabulous dinner, pleasant waiter and excellent service . Thanks to the chef. I only gave it a 3 star because it needs to have some updates, front porch would be a lovely if they could make it into a terrace, updated furniture, add some plant, clean up gardens in front for curb appeal. it has an excellent view of the Gaspe. Would stay there again.
We arrived at the hotel after a long drive only to find it was locked and no lights on… nobody there. We tried calling but no answer. The message was in French so I have no idea what they said but it didn’t really matter as we had to find other accommodations at the last minute. I received an email at midnight saying they were sorry but could now accommodate us! Ridiculous!
We contacted the owner about three nights stay. He offered their RV on the primise and claimed it was in good condition. What a surprise when we arrived! The RV is at least 20 years old with everything dated and dirty. The bedding is smelly. The toilet was clogged in the 2nd time of usage. No wifi. With all of these he charged $125 per day. We checked out the next day and want to warn people about this trap!
Cute Aurberge with a hearty breakfast served. Rooms were clean, good shower pressure, however the beds were so uncomfortable and noisy that we didn’t sleep well at all. The younger gentleman was so rude, when asked about some local recommendations he replied in don’t know, go talk to the tourist information’ and when I left my jacket behind, I phoned to collect and he huffed on the phone and said ‘I don’t have time for this’
Beautiful place from outside. The room was unbelievably small - I had walk-in-closet bigger than that. The room was dated, dark, and uncomfortable. There was no wifi at all. Stayed for 3 nights, paid $500 and will never come again.
The greeting of guests was "cold and snobby". Rooms are cute, but portable air conditioner overrides any conversation in the room. Very few power outlets and the included breakfast was disappointing. And being prompted to pay right after breakfast and hurry out because they will be in a rush was not acceptable. Same for the BIG PRINTS at the bottom of the menu saying that "gratuities are not included in the prices" and also being reminded of that on a regular basis was out of line. Overall, I don't recommend this establishment, as the prices are highly overrated for what you get!
Beautiful view, felt very welcomed. Every thing was as described, just wish we had another day to spend. We had dinner in the dining room. We have eaten in meny places in the world, this was on a par with the best. The wine list was amazing, I found this suprising and so pleasing. I left the coffee until last, meny restaurants fail on the coffee that finishes off a meal. The coffee was excellent. Did I say anything about breakfast? A menu with 8 choices included in price of the room, great coffee. Dinner was not included with the room, and what I would have expected to pay in a high end restaurant. Oh! Ya and great coffee. We stayed at a Best Western the next night. No restaurant, air conditioner as disabled by the hotel to save money. Breakfast which was included, well let's be kind an say we went out to eat. Best Western get 1.5 stars.
Absolutely beautiful and historic hotel/restaurant
Stayed for early dinner and it was excellent, the chef is very generous with his plate portion!
Nice place that have its unique atmosphere. Sound insulation is not amazing however.
