Beautiful restaurant with outside seating available overlooking the river. Food was delicious for Sunday Brunch, and the servers were there checking and refilling drinks fast. We had a delicious cheese board to share first, white fish, bagel with salmon, and a petite filet. All was perfectly cooked, right temperatures, a very good brunch. The Hotel itself is very beautiful with stoned walls and a beautiful main staircase. The Restaurant is very elegant with nice tables, solid carved wood chairs with English gobelinos, beautiful artwork on the wall, and top to ceiling glass windows with the river view. Great food, great place, great service. Parking: Big parking lot in front of the hotel entrance.
Wonderful! Atwater at the Herrington was the ideal spot for a date night celebration dinner for two. We had an excellent view of the courtyard and river. Great wine selection, attentive service, melt in your mouth - top notch cuisine. They also took my special dietary needs seriously and made certain I kept clear of any issues. We'll be back. Reservations recommended! Dietary restrictions: Waiters were happy to check everything with the chef including sauces, for anything with eggs, and make recommendations for me.
Arrived to our table with an adorable personalized card signed by the staff for my birthday. We sat outdoors with a garden and river view. Great service and excellent meal! Parking: Ample parking at the lot across the street
This place really does have it all. Great service, charming space with a view of Fox River, great salads and appetizerswe had the poached pear salad, butternut squash soup, and short ribs, had the sausage risotto entree that hit the spot, then had great dessert and port wine to finish.Food: 5/5
Really great night and meal with my wife on a Sunday. The crab cakes and short ribs were both amazing. Filet and duck also very good. Nice ambience and a great special occasion spot.
The most charming little restaurant with the most fabulous food I've had in a long time. Perfect for a special event. Service was superb!!!! I'm certain I'll be back, next time when the weather permits the beautiful outdoor seating. Parking: There is a private lot reserved to the hotel and restaurant.
Ordered sea food with gun based cocktail. Cocktail was good and salmon was decently good. A touch expensive but not crowded and eating outside was good. Waitress inquired often but was not at all disturbing.
We came here for our three year anniversary. It was nothing short of truly amazing. The service was so grand and so wonderful. Everyone treated us with so much respect and friendliness. This is one of the best places I've ever had the opportunity to dine at. The view is incredible. Even though our filet was overcooked, we told them about it, and they sent a new one out in minutes! The service is just amazing. After dinner, we took a few photos on the river and it was just beautiful. We will always have such fond memories of this place as I've been here with my family as well 10 years ago. Please never change this place! Can't wait to come back :
Service was great, however, food was pretty bland and 2/4 people in our party got food poisoning we both ate the filet mignon, the other people in our party ordered something else and were fine. Manager basically said there's nothing they can do about it. We paid almost $300 to get sick so I do not recommend.
Intimate ,beautiful octagonal dining room overlooking the Fox River . Excellent not overbearing server. Very delicious food. Very moderate process. Will return very soon!
