Please find a different venue for your own piece of mind! We planned an themed-event for UBCO students and used WS accounting managed venue Rutland centennial hall as it was the best for us, but little did we know how horrible we would be treated. We booked for March 26th, sold tickets, hired security, Special Events Permit, DJ, sponsors including UBCO and a big energy drink company. We had everything paid for and planned and 8 days before the event they canceled as they had the right to do so because the event that was taken the week prior was a disaster. We were put in a the worst situation as we had nowhere else to hold the event and we had already sold tickets. They told us the reason was because we didn’t have security, permits, plan and that we seemed unprepared. We informed them we had everything planned and were taking care of the venue as it was our own. We have spent over $3,000 as students to bring a safe and fun environment to our students, but WSaccountings’s unprofessional has left us in the worst situation. We tried to understand their point of view, but it was just excuses and assumptions due to our age and the last event. They never asked the last event if they had a plan, permit, security, and just realized how unprofessional and absurd their decision was. By far the worst customer service for a venue.
