Atikokan Foodland

Nice friendly service. Fresh, fruit meat and veggies. It's a little expensive but it is what keeps the grocery store running. Wide variety of almost everything you could want.

Not a lot of food, high prices, very average store. But it is the only grocery store in town or anywhere around.. Interesting, competition would be good...

Not bad prices, good selection of products and friendly services

A really great supermarket for the size of the town. They have a really great selection of the essentials and definitely a number of things that you won't expect to find. Despite being the only store in town they still have really great specials The best thing about it though is the staff who are friendly and treat you like family. They will always help you find things and quickly open another till so that you don't need to stand in line It's just like supermarkets used to be like

Another place that don't like new people constantly watching you like come on its a grocery store I mean if it wasn't the only place in atikokan I'd go else where I mean I spend so much more at DNL then here because of how they treat people specially Darryl

Fantastic grocery store to stock up and grab supplies. Place is super clean and the staff are friendly. Great selection on baked goods, fresh produce and meats. Great store!

Small, but very well stalked grocery store. Employees helpful and very friendly. Will enjoy shopping here.

For being located in such a small town, Foodland does an excellent job of keeping prices fairly close to what they would retail for in a city. There are a few products that do seem drastically marked-up, however most of the local population know this and tend to grab those few items in a trip to the city. People are very friendly here, so plan for an extra ten minutes "talk" time on your grocery trip.

I always enjoy my experience at the Foodland. The staff are helpful, friendly and everything I need can be pretty much found there. Also prices are competitive to anywhere else I have observed.

Overpriced, low quality, and food is usually not far from expiring if not already sometimes. You really have to watch what you buy because they leave dairy and other such volatile products on the shelf until the best before date, and when you get it home you're lucky if it lasts a few days before going sour. Bought a couple steaks, froze them immediately and when it was time to take them out they were very off smelling. Threw them in the garbage. Only buy stuff there when you have to, so save your money and make a monthly tbay trip for high quality, fresh, and reasonably priced food. If something is on sale, check the dates !! And for the love of God, grab from the back!
