Service and Price Was Really Good ! BAKLAVA was old and dry , chicken was an Absolute ZERO and the Gyro and Tzatziki Sauce Was Forgettable. Pita Bread Cold .
All around solid restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine. The flavor and bang for buck factor here are hard to beat, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. The staff were friendly but the interior atmosphere was a bit dingy and outdated. The falafel were crispy and delicious, though lacked flavor compared to other falafel I’ve had. The hummus was rich and satisfying but a bit too runny. The star of the show was the Athena chicken, which was well-marinated, grilled to have a slight char, and very tender, juicy, and flavorful especially alongside the sautéed onions and banana peppers. The portion was enough for a full lunch and leftovers for dinner. The pecan pastry was also a standout item, notable for how sweet, flaky, and buttery it was. The chocolate almond roll was a bit dry, as if it had been out too long. Overall I think 4 stars for this place is very fair; I’ve had better, but I did not regret eating here. Some items were just okay, others were great.
LOVE THIS PLACE. Glad to see this gem in the North Mpls area. The owner is awesome and the food is blessed. Can't beat the Athens Chicken, suuuper good recipe. Also, that garlic hummus is the absolute best. Check this place out. It's not fancy, but that's not the point here. Just really really good food.

Great local treasure for Gyros. The fries are so good too. Crisp on the outside, soft in the inside, well seasoned. The gyros are very generous, easily enough for a meal and great leftovers.Food: 5/5
The salad was amazing and so were the crispy falafels. However their chicken and lamb plates were not good. The chicken was over cooked, hard and dry enough to leave a dent on the tab if thrown! But the hummus was good. Would go again only for appetizers. And not for main course. Also the desserts weren’t as good. They were way too sweet for even a bite.
The the main foods here are freshly cooked and one of a kind. The gyro meat is a high quality rare brand name. The combos on the whiteboard are the way to go, and the Hummus is the best hummus I've ever had. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options if you look at the menu instead of the combos most people get.

Best gyros in town! Decent fries, hummus and lamb kabob are really stellar, tender juicy meat, perfectly balanced garlic and tahini in the hummus. Hawari has a gem for you to simply enjoy! Don’t bring up the building- food far exceeds and zeros that out. Get it to go if you need.
This place makes a very meaty gyro. Very good bang for your buck. Their hummus is really where it's at though. You can actually buy it and homemade pita chips to take home and eat throughout the week. Definitely worth a try. Inside is very much like a deli. Not a good ambience for a date. Solid for take out or simple eat in. They do have space for a small group.
