Story

Eric Goldberg pays homage to his father Lou, who immigrated to Canada with his parents at the age of seven. In 1946, Lou started what would become a Montreal institution, Lou Goldberg Jeweller.

I brought in 2 sterling silver bracelets, one that needed some links removed and the other that needed it’s closure altered so it would stay closed. The second bracelet has a lot of sentimental value and at first I was worried it couldn’t be fixed but Eric was incredibly helpful in going over everything w me and let me know that the shop would be able to make the adjustments it needed. I couldn’t be happier w how both bracelets turned out. A very kind and professional team that knows what they’re doing. Phenomenal work, many many thanks!
It was a cold day in Montreal when I, a senior, received the warmest reception nervously requesting an Appraisal from Eric for a recently purchased three stone ring. He scowled after putting in his loupe! Professional, reassuring, right on the money, Eric read me and my ring. Every thing I wanted to hear and now I’ll be sleeping better. Thank you, Eric!

Great service, the guy there was very nice and professional. He was able to fix my watch at a reasonable price too. I like also how they text or call you when your watch is ready.
Incredible service .. I brought a Citizen Eco Drive for a scratched glass. They gave me all the available options for repair. The glass was changed in less than a work week including the original one. I was also offered support for any issues after the repair. Great experience and a beautiful place, thank you!
Amazing Atelier! I had a stone replaced on a ring and the work was beautiful. The replacement was done promptly and very affordably. The shop is very welcoming and I felt my jewelry in good hands. I absolutely recommend Atelier Lou.
