Amazing. I came here with two other people and we all left very satisfied. The design of the restaurant is very chic and modern. The whole menu is vegan with MANY gluten free options. The staff is laid back and welcoming. We ordered three different dishes; chicken and waffles, sugar shack and the English muffin. They were all presented beautifully and tasted amazing. In addition, I got a London fog to drink and once again the presentation was beautiful and it tasted perfect. We will all be returning here for sure!
What a beautiful place to taste a delicious meal and have a great time. Perfect date place if you want to impress your future love one. And the food.. simply amazing, the ingredients are all vegan and everything tasted delicious. Service was more than perfect. They did everything possible to make our evening as nice as can be. Try it and see why reviews are so high. Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant !
We were well greeted and immediately seated at Astoria. There were many vegan choices on the menu and a fun wine list. The meal was very good as was the service. We sat on the outdoor patio and we weren't packed close to others, there is also an indoor patio, and a main indoor dining area that is very nice. We will be back ! We had previously picked up a pre-ordered cake here for a party and it was fantastic, everyone loved it.
Okay 10/10 everything. Food: amazing Staff: memorable Atmosphere: superb I went for supper - everything was delicious. Definitely going back to check out breakfast. Would highly recommend for meat eaters or vegans alike.
Chic and modern …. Great for a romantic putting or ladies events …. They also have an enclosed terrace in the back for those want a view to Ottawa parliament and not too worries about the slight cold draft ….. although sitting by the bar or close to the entrance, the cold drafts can really get to you as clients open and close the door. So I suggest if making reservation, ask to sit behind the bar or at the back to avoid cold. Wind blowing on you back or face while sitting down. Ordered a gluten free nachos ….. the nachos were thick and crispy and there were some interesting toppings including guacamole scoops and jalapeños … but no tomatoes …. However they do come with a tiny saucer plate of diced natural tomatoes …… Interesting combination for $24 and the plate was quite small …… Overall, nice ambiance but pricey appetizer plates for what they serve ……..
The food was excellent. Incredibly tasty and fresh. The hostess was not friendly or welcoming but our server made up for it. Overall great vegan restaurant!Food: 5/5
Amazing experience!! Truly one of our best dine-in experiences, the food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were lovely! We shared the arancini and the buffalo mac and we ate ridiculously fast it was so good! The vibes of the place were warm and friendly, not too loud and quite spacious, we didn't feel cramped at all. Will definitely be back ASAP!
We were in Ottawa for 5 days and came here twice cause it was so good and my kids wanted to come back for the brunch menu. Everything tastes wonderful and it's by far the best vegan place we went to in Ottawa.
Delicious vegan food and great service! We had the Thanksgiving Poutine special, Pumpkin spice latte, grilled cheese and tomato soup, and French onion soup. Everything was very filling and we look forward to coming back to try more items including the tiramisu!
Great food for vegans and non-vegan. Large selection of traditional and unusual beers. Desserts, are beautifully presented and not overly sweet, just how I like them. Beautiful cutlery. The staff was friendly and service was great. Was pleasantly surprised to have stumbled on this place. I didn't really expect to find such an awesome plant-based place in downtown Gatineau. Highly recommended!
