I wish to sincerely thank the installer, Mr. Barry. He was fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable, very skilled, and so thoughtful about my Mom's personal needs and her physical situation. Plus he is extremely personable; you can tell by his comments he is a very caring individual and is understanding of seniors' needs and respectful of their unique situations.
They supplied and installed equipment, knowing all the parameters, including my weight. The equipment was to take my weight for transfers. When the equipment failed the bolt fixing it in place broke!, and I narrowly avoided injury, they tried to say that the failure was my fault, that the equipment wasn't rated for the force of a fall! Are not rectifying issue. The guy started to talk down to me. When I started to counter his attitude, he hung up on me. As they don't seem to be able to figure out what the proper equipment to supply, I would definitely stay away from them. Thank you for your reply. Of course, you have skewed the information. I did NOT fall on it. I lost my balance, while sitting down, thus having to use the device to try to keep myself from falling. It failed. Also, it was installed by your installers. They would be the people who determined that the bolts were sufficient. They were not. The product supplied by the manufacturer did not fail; unless the bolts were supplied by them too. Regardless, the installation was unsafe, and I narrowly avoided injury. You are supposedly the experts, thus should know what is safe, including the fact that the equipment is meant for people who have mobility problems, and can be expected to be unstable, and fall.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Was able to rent crutches from this company at ease. Pick up and return was fast and efficient.
Great store. Staff is very helpful.

We received horrible customer service from the Aspen Healthcare in St. Albert. My parents got equipment installed by them and one item was not installed correctly. We were delayed in letting them know about the issue because my mom got admitted to the hospital. Needless to say, a toilet seat was the least of our concerns at that moment. When my mom was finally discharged home , my dad tried to have the issue resolved. The owner, Jim, was incredibly rude on the phone. He actually told my dad that he was ‘screwed up in the head’. I honestly can't believe a business owner would speak to a senior citizen who is their customer that way. The gentleman, if you can call him that, who came to rectify the situation was equally as rude, blaming my dad for the issue. In the end , he fixed the problem and left. It's honestly not worth the stress to deal with a business that clearly doesn't value their customers. We needed equipment to help my aging parents function in their home. It’s stressful enough dealing with sick family members but having to be told that my dad is ‘screwed up in the head’ was incredibly hurtful and completely unnecessary. The sad thing is, everyone in my family used to get our supplies from Aspen Health and when my dad mentioned that to Jim, his response was ‘who cares, that was then, this is now’ .Maybe the owner is the one who is " screwed up in the head" because if he continues to treat his customers this way, he won't have any left. Very disappointing and shameful behaviour from this local business.
