Honestly, I was hoping to leave a five star review - like many others in the reviews, I have had their food a few times over the last few years, and it has always been spot on. Today was almost no different - fried dumplings and crab rangoons were GREAT. That's about where it ended though - the orange chicken was mush and was not at all spicy like I requested. And it seems like the egg roll I ordered came with half of the grease from the frier it was made in. All in all, it was an alright meal, but the main courses were disappointing, and I probably won't order again.
Quality ingredients, fresh and oh so yummy, we will definitely order from Asian Garden again and kudos to our Grubhub delivery driver for getting it here while it was still nice and hot !
Their general tsos is a really good price for good food. For $13 they give you enough to feed 3-4 people. The crab rangoons are quite tasty but could use a touch more filling. The egg drop soup is very good, as well. I will definitely be returning to try other things.
I was really upset with my food this time. I got Mongolian and beef and I had more onions than beef. The rice was really hard
We have always loved this place. Good Chinese, close to home, and great service. After today, I will NOT be back, honestly should have asked for a refund immediately after arriving. The place is a mess, I expect places I get food from to be clean. Not boxes upon boxes and trash where people used to be able to sit and eat. The kitchen was a disaster too. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, but once home one dish had an incredibly long hair in it.
We have gotten food from here for years and it’s always been great. Got a takeout order this weekend, and it was probably the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. Received fried rice instead of white rice and except for the egg rolls, it all was flat and tasteless. So disappointed to say the least. Major improvements needed to ever go back.
We have ordered from here only for couple years and always been happy until today. I called and ordered 2 combination platters with 2 extra egg rolls, same thing we always order. My husband went to pick it up after 25 min they said it would take to prepare. They didnt have our order so he called me to double check and we replaced the order which he then sat there to wait for. An hour after our inital order was placed he returned home and the food was all wrong. No combo platters and no extra egg rolls and he paid almost $5 more then we do for the food we always order. When I called to let them know they remembered him coming in but not me placing the order. I recited our original order and he finally “found it” but said someone called right after me and it didnt get put through. He offered for my husband to drive back and pick up the right rice or a $10 credit, that is all either or. We spent over $24 on the wrong food! Needless to say we will not be back and looking for another place to get our food that values customers, apologizes and admits their mistakes to make it right!
This place let me call and order dine-in food before I got there which is super nifty
They are really good. My own thing is, was their crab sticks.they weren't fully battered. Take them or leave them. I would leave them. Everything else that we got was pretty good. Had sweet and sour chicken and pork, also general sou. We got the bo bo platter which the crab sticks came with. Also got the house fried rice which was awesome.
Look I can understand being busy. I didn't think twice about the long delivery time. But I made it clear in the instructions that I was at a hotel and needed plasticware. I know it sounds petty, but I waited an extended time gladly and paid 30% tip and can't eat a single thing I ordered. Now have to leave while quarantined to get a fkn fork to eat. I get it. 1st world problems. But I literally called ahead for this very thing. I paid 80 total for the convenience of not having to go to the big store. Not worth it
