If you care about the health of you and your loved ones, please refrain from using the services provided at Aspirus Waupaca Clinic. Frankly, I would be nervous to even have a routine physical exam at this facility. To begin, our experience thus far has been quite stressful and nerve-wracking, with Carri Schacherl, NP and Ellen whom I believe to be a CNA seeing us during our most recent visit. During our exam, and upon waiting for Carri to enter our room, Ellen was very short-fused and interrupted when we were attempting to address our concerns. Ellen then told us that Carri was very busy and may not be able to address all of our concerns. After a very limited exam and many questions left unanswered by Carri, multiple blood tests were ordered, a referral for a heart monitor, as well as an URGENT referral to see a cardiologist. As for the blood work,, Ellen forgot to draw enough blood to test for a viral infection which was ordered by Carri and then proceeded to send a blood draw order to a different facility the next day without any notification. We were completely confused and awaiting for the blood test results that Carri and Ellen said were taken at their clinic. Not to mention our time being wasted. As for ordering the heart monitor, Carri requested it to be worn for two weeks, but Ellen wrote the request for 48 hours. We had to call and nearly argue with the staff to have this problem solved. Along with this, we waited in the clinic for over nearly one hour. The referral to see a cardiologist is also intertwined in this sad scenario. The close family member whom was seen by Carri and Ellen may or may not have heart issues. Nonetheless, while Carri told us that the referral would be urgent, Ellen or another staff member at Apirus Waupaca Clinic decided to send over a blank referral. Upon notification of this, they sent another referral. However, it was incorrect as not labeled URGENT--which was ordered. In my opinion, potential heart problems are an urgent matter, but with the original referral my loved one wouldn't have been able to see a cardiologist for almost two months Upon talking to staff Aspirus Waupaca Clinic, they especially Ellen blame other facilities and people for mistakes that she made. She would not answer any of my questions, and then put me on hold. Upon returning to our call she said that I can contact her manager about these issues. Ellen even made a mistake ordering the treadmill version of an echo stress test when my loved one can barely walk. Overall, I am very concerned for the safety of patients at Aspirus Waupaca Clinic. Please do yourselves a favor and choose a different facility where patients' health, safety, and life are priorities.
Having lots of trouble getting my prescription! Several requests from the pharmacy went there and they said they are not showing any. Will see if I get a response to my phone call there for the med that I need.
So I unfortunately can't get in to point to see my AMAZING Kay internal med, had bad knee pain. I saw Carrie S and she told me EVERYTHING was due to my medicine I take. She didn't exam me nor offer an xray to double check that nothing's going on, I had to request it!! The worst part of it all she treated me as I was only trying to get pain killers, she basically didn't care for me. Xray lady...the women that took my blood, and receptionists were friendly so a star for you 3 ladies.
I would NEVER come to Waupaca Ascension of it weren't for Dr Wiersma. He has been my primary Physician for many years. Getting call backs takes days, if they decide to call back at all. I've been calling since Monday at 9am, 2-3 calls a day and I finally got a call back and spoke to someone, today, Wed, at 4pm. There is a preventative medication Dr Wiersma prescribes me to keep me out of ICU, that he would fill within hours of my call when he was in Plover. What I was told concerning this medication fill was untrue. I know that per my discussions with my physician and exactly what I was told to do. I'm ready to leave Ascension period....
The nurses are so rude and laugh at there patients openly. I will never return to this place. I will take my chances at riverside. Completely rude and unprofessional. Tellimg me im overreacting while in the middle of a panic attack then laugh right in my face. Unbelievable
Never returns phone calls. Patients getting the run around when trying to fill prescription medications. Most of the time flat out stopping refills on medication patients need!! Do not recomend this clinic at all!!!!!
I like Carrie S as my primary care person Takes the time to explain things and does not rush me . Also the same with Lynn T my DOT physician takes time with me and tells me what I need to do.
They are very unprofessional....they don't get back to u in a timely manner with test results, took 2 weeks and 3 days I had to call them several times. The APNP never even looked at my test results the RN finally told them to me after I asked to speak with someone about filling a complaint. They didn't do the blood testing I asked them to run they did other test that costed me more money so I never got the answer I was looking for. I could go on and on....please find a different place to go VERY UNHAPPY
Was literally denied services. Very unfriendly and rude remarks on the phone. Will never again
