Service was excellent. This was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The scallops were perfectly cooked. A little crisp on the outside and soft and buttery inside. The sea bass, despite its high price tag is 100% worth it. The corn chowder-like bed this fish laid in was very flavorful. The peppers are a bit spicy! The rumchatta bread pudding put it over the top. 10/10 will be coming back.
Went to Artisan 179 last night for dinner and we really went for it. We ordered one of every appetizer on the menu and everything was delicious! I would highly recommend the brussel sprouts, cauliflower tempura, and lamb lollipops. The environment is dim and cozy with art for sale on the walls. Definitely a great spot for a date. The service was great and our server Sasha did a phenomenal job. Enjoy local!
We didn't get served at our table for about 20 minutes, not even water, so I had to take some stars off for that. Otherwise, the outdoor patio, drinks, and food were good. I highly recommend the popcorn appetizer. Seriously, I wish they sold that stuff by gallon because I would stock up.
Artisan 179 is relaxing, across from Pewaukee Lake. GREAT Food. Truffles Fries are amazing. Wagfu Meatballs, Trio Sliders are excellent. Tempura Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts are good but huge portions. Creative Chefs. Nice decor. Very busy, especially in warm months. Indoor/outdoor seating. If you're a drinker, extensive alcohol/beer menu. Parking in attended Lot next to Restaurant-- Customers Ony. Vegetarian options: Vegans & Carnivores Welcome! I ordered the stripped sea bass which sat on a bed of spinach and creamed corn. I think a tear dropped when I took the first bite. My grandmother made the best southern creamed corn. I wondered if she was back in Artisan’s kitchen cooking. The service, awesome!!
Traveled to the Milwaukee area for a business meeting and our dinner plans with us to Artisan 179. For my first time visiting the drink options were very unique, including the The SmoKed Orange Manhattan ordered by my coworker, and I had the About Thyme. We ordered a smorgasbord appetizers including the brussel sprouts, cauliflower, potstickers, cheese tray and all were gobbled up by our party of six with haste. But I would have to say that the favorite entree, which was the one I ordered, was the 16 oz pork chop - it was magnificent. The service was top-notch, and the environment was quaint. Definitely would return again
Please take the time to check out this restaurant. Location Location Location. Steps away from the beach. We sat on the patio with lake views and a sunset. Service was top notch, and the food was fantastic. Lake country gem right here! Keep it up.

Absolutely beautiful! Amazing food, appetizers, cocktails, service, and management! I met the owner for the first time tonight, Ted, he is a wonderful man and I can’t wait to come back and have their delicious food and beverage. The servers were on top of everything and so sweet. Definitely recommend. Perfect for the pewaukee area and need more of these restaurant and hospitality around! Also, Chloe girl was an amazing server and bartender! I definitely recommend her when you come in! I did not get a chance to get the others names but they were and have always been so sweet also!!!
My husband and I have been here before and loved it, so we decided to go here for our 5th year wedding anniversary. As expected, the atmosphere was great, service was top notch, and the food was fantastic. After dinner we ordered a dessert to share and my husband mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary while we were chatting with our waiter. Our waiter ended up bringing out an extra dessert and a couple of dessert shots to celebrate with, and a card with a note signed by everyone working there. It was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Really made our night special. Celebrating a special occasion or not, I highly recommend going here. The restaurant tends to be busy, so call ahead for a reservation, especially on the weekend.
