Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The blueberry matcha was both visually stunning and delicious. The cottage cheese pancakes were something new for us and ended up being one of our favorite dishes. The challah bread with sea salt is an absolute must-order and is worth the visit on its own.nn Service:nn Rating 1–5: 4nnNotes speed, friendliness, accuracy, attentiveness, wait time, problem resolution:nConsidering how busy the restaurant was, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have a long wait, even without a reservation. We were seated quickly at a nice table inside, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The only thing that would have elevated the experience even more would have been a few personal recommendations from our server, especially since there were so many tempting menu options.nn Atmosphere:nn Rating 1–5: 3nnNotes cleanliness, decor, lighting, noise level, comfort, seating, ambiance:nThe restaurant itself is beautiful, with charming décor and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to see why it’s such a popular destination. What stood out?nnYes, I would definitely return. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and made the visit worthwhile. While I probably wouldn’t wait in an extremely long line given the number of great restaurants nearby, I’d happily come back when the wait is reasonable. Arthur’s is a wonderful choice for brunch with friends or family, and I’d especially recommend ordering the challah bread, cottage cheese pancakes, and the blueberry matcha.
The food was really good. The pancakes were really fluffy and creamy and tasted really good. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and the eggs really nice and fluffy. The avocado toast was really good too. The coffee was good, the iced cold brew was okay, a bit too bitter. Overall service was really good and definitely recommend trying this place
Arthur’s Nosh Bar is a really good brunch spot in Montreal. What we like most is the cottage cheese pancakes and the fried eggs, everything is super flavorful and well done.nnThey don’t have an espresso machine, but that doesn’t bother us since we actually prefer filter coffee.nnOverall, it’s an excellent spot for breakfast or brunch in the city. Just keep in mind they don’t take reservations, so you usually have to wait a bit, especially on weekends.
Had a good brunch here with a group of 3- the service rating is low because of an almost 2 hr wait to be seated after being told at the door it would be 45min followed by a txt that it would actually be 60min. I had the Shakshuka which was well balanced and amazingly flavored - all my friends wanted a bite. We also shared a Syrniki which was sweet and filling. The malt vinegar fries were also great- crispy and the vinegar balanced out the salt. Overall I would consider coming again but the unpredictable wait time is something to consider.
We went here twice on our trip because the food was so fantastic. The strawberry syrniki cottage cheese pancakes were the star of the show. We have never tasted better pancakes. The eggs and salami was also delicious - fluffy eggs, really good challah but the latkes were average. The McArthur sandwich was juicy and really tasty. The roast beef sandwich was very well balanced. We had a couple of drinks, one that stood out was the Bonbon Bleuet blueberry jam sour. The staff were extremely friendly and also entertained our toddler when they saw him getting fussy.
