Situés au coeur du Plateau Mont-Royal, dans Pointe-Claire et l'Ile des Soeurs, les centres l'Art de Vivre sont des lieux où la communauté de Montréal peut se réunir dans un esprit de partage et de service. Nous offrons des activités communautaires telles des séances de yoga et de méditation, des cours de cuisine végétarienne et des ateliers de respiration lors desquels nous enseignons la puissante technique du Sudarshan Kriya. Nous proposons également des événements spéciaux comme le yogathon annuel pour supporter le programme caritatif de Care for Children.
Mis sur pied en 1981 par Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, les programmes de la Fondation l’Art de Vivre sont inspirés par la philosophie de paix de Sri Sri : « À moins d’avoir un mental sans stress et une société sans violence, nous ne pouvons atteindre la paix mondiale. » Afin d’aider les individus à se libérer du stress et à faire l’expérience de la paix intérieure, l’Art de Vivre offre des programmes de soulagement du stress comprenant des techniques de respiration, de la méditation et du yoga. Ces programmes ont permis à des millions de personnes dans le monde entier à surmonter le stress, la dépression et l’inclination à la violence.

Situated in the heart of the plateau area, in Pointe-Claire and Nun's Island, the Montreal Art of Living Centres provides opportunities for the Montreal community to come together in a spirit of sharing and service. We hold regular community activities such as yoga and meditation classes, vegetarian cooking classes, breathing workshops where we teach the powerful Sudarshan Kriya technique as well as many other special events such as our annual Yogathon in support of Care for Children.
Founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living Foundation's programs are guided by Sri Sri’s philosophy of peace: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world peace.” To help individuals get rid of stress and experience inner peace, Art of Living offers stress-elimination programs that include breathing techniques, meditation and yoga. These programs have helped millions around the world to overcome stress, depression and violent tendencies.
The Art of Living Foundation is the world's largest not-for-profit volunteer-based NGO and is active in over 150 countries. The Foundation's mission is to promote world peace through service projects and inner peace through personal development programs that help individuals improve the quality of their lives. The Foundation has over 10,000 teachers worldwide dedicated to sharing the age old disciplines of yoga and meditation in their communities.
