We have visited a few times over the last couple years. The best time was when we reserved the sharp-tailed grouse lek blind in April. I would highly recommend you do that! We have also driven around the auto-tour road and hiked around the Warbler Woodland area. There can be a lot of ticks depending on time of year. Great birding opportunities though!
Very nice. Lots of deer and phesants.
Great auto tour routes, beautiful overlook, stellar visitor center, tons of wildlife. What more is there to say? I mean I could talk about the spring/summer season of various wildflowers, or the fact that there are a ton of beautiful birds that stop here during migration season, or the ever so busy birdhouse next to the visitor center, point is you need to check this place out if you're a fan of conservation.
Office closed and brochures depleted. Beautiful natural area..one of our intended destinations. Came to bird from Washington State.
It was a nice area. We saw a large amount of waterfowl. Long drive to get there. Center was closed. I wouldn't drive there a 2nd time.
Great place to relax and learn a little about migratory birds. Plenty of wildlife to watch.
Wonderful place. Friendly staff helped us identify bugs and birds!
Auto tour was a great tour and very birdy.
Not enough stars to describe the beauty and magnificence of this place. Tens of thousands of waterfowl, shorebirds, and warblers.
Wow! If you love to view wildlife and not on the television you MUST visit!!!
