I had a great experience at Armour Registry. It was my first time going to this registry, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole process comfortable and smooth.nnBrad, the examiner, was very professional and calm throughout the road test. His clear instructions and relaxed approach really helped me stay focused and not feel nervous. He was also very kind and respectful, which I truly appreciated.nnOverall, it was a very positive experience. I highly recommend Armour Registry and Brad to anyone taking their road test.

Very disappointing experience with the driving examiner BRAD here. The examiner kept interrupting me and even started talking about my mistakes during the test, which made me nervous and distracted. Because of that, I ended up making unsafe actions and failed. Later, I took the test at another registry without any extra lessons and passed easily. Legally, the examiner is not supposed to speak about mistakes during the test, as it distracts the driver and affects their performance. It really feels like they work with driving schools to make students fail and spend more money. Not fair or professional at all.nnReplying to Owner:--Thank you for your response. While I understand that examiners operate under the authority of Alberta Transportation, in my case, the examiner provided feedback in the middle of the road test for a very minor mistake, which made me nervous and resulted in a larger unsafe action. Such interruptions during testing can directly impact a candidate’s concentration and overall performance.nnFurthermore, I strongly believe that candidates should have the right to independently choose their test location without influence or coordination from driving schools. In my experience, my instructor informed me beforehand that the test would be booked only with a specific examiner, and it indeed turned out to be the same person who interrupted me during the test. This raises an important question — how did the instructor already know which examiner would be assigned, if the process is meant to be completely independent and unbiased?nnI am sharing my experience not to criticize, but to raise awareness so that others can make informed decisions and ensure they are tested in a professional, fair, and transparent environment.
Stopped by here because it was the first one open early in the morning. I loved that since I really needed my license to go about the rest of my day. Leah was awesome! She was quick, helpful, non-judgmental and dotted every i and crossed every t. I needed a special tool to change our license plate and she got me that as well. Service was quick and painless and this registry and staff made a difficult situation so much easier for me. Definitely recommend : Also, for any parents with STUDENT DRIVERS, they sell magnets for the vehicles! Cute slogans or just simple ones. Their student driver test is also just $9.99!
I visited this registry office to get my driving record and paid $34 for the service. While I was there, I asked to use the washroom, but I was told there is no public washroom. I explained that I was not a random person—I was a paying customer—but still was refused. I felt this was unfair and disappointing customer service.
