Armondo's Villa Tuscan Grill

Food and service were both excellent. You can tell it is a family business. Authentic Italian. From the apps to the entrees, all were delicious. We will be back again!

If there was some way to be seated by completely avoiding the front desk, I'd most definitely return (and my rating would be higher). I've been to this restaurant with both family and friends and have experienced unprofessional, unfriendly/curt behavior from the mature 'd (s). They struggle greatly with table management... esp managing walk-in vs reservations. I have no problem with waiting if I had no reservation... but I shouldn't be told "30 minutes" and then seated in 2 hours on a non-holiday evening... with absolutely no interaction from the mature'd apologizing or providing me with an update. Nor should I walk in at 5Pm opening time in a Sunday and rudely be told they are "booked"... later to be told that "as long as we are done eating by 6:30 we may be seated"! (When I left the restaurant at 6pm, it was still only 1/2 full). I've also had reservations on other occasions, and had to wait without explanation or apology. Simply put, I never felt welcomed or felt I'm in a friendly environment when entering this establishment... such a shame because the wait staff are great and the food is very good as well. There are far too many Italian Restaurants in Schenectady to go to rather than bothering the front staff with my patronage.

Good Italian food. My favorite dish, Veal Alfredo, isn't on the menu but they will happily make it for you. It starts with a crispy slice of veal covered with Alfredo sauce, 2 large shrimp and artichoke hearts. A downside for me is the limited beer menu.

Food was good. But the prices for 2 people was unbelievable. They don't have prices on their menu and so it was a horrible surprise. Nice people but I couldnt afford this place. I own a business and I know how much things coast

Delicious food and very attentive wait staff.. You definitely get your money's worth with food and service.
