Great cruise. The boat was very comfortable and not over crowded. The owners were well educated and went out of their way to find wildlife for us to view. A great experience and well worth it

This was our second trip with Toddy and Alan. Though eight years have past since our first experience with Archipelago Wildlife Cruises, this trip was still a wonderful experience. Don't go expecting to see any wildlife but be amazed by what you do see and the additional enthusiasm and knowledge of your hosts, who really make your day a special one to remember. Young and old will love this adventure, our 27 year old Son went with us this time and thought the whole day was brilliant despite the weather being unkind. On our first trip we did see whale, which most people want to see, on the second trip, we did not see any, but that's your luck on the day. We did see, on both occasions, seals, sea lions, otter, raccoons, bald eagles, various species of seagulls, cormorants and lots of other sea birds too. We have, but not this time, seen bear and deer. What makes this cruise so special is two people inviting you into their home (on board) and making you feel welcome, then showing you their local area, the stunning islands and inlets. Having a beautiful lunch in such a special setting and seeing the most amazing wildlife. I would thoroughly recommend this experience. Thank you Toddy and Alan.

These guys know what they're doing! I took the day cruise with lunch (catered by a nearby fine dining restaurant) and it was really enjoyable. More relaxing than a zodiac trip would have been - these guys do not guarantee whales but apparently the guaranteed tours just put you on standby the next day if you don't see anything. Archipelago was worth it!

Beautiful scenery, outstanding service and amazing wildlife spotting opportunities. The tour is run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They have been in Ucluelet for over 20 years and it really shows. They provide very interesting commentary throughout the tour about the geological and cultural history of the many islands you pass by. They also explain a lot of the interesting animal behaviour that you see on the tour. I highly recommend the tour and would say it was well worth the money. Even on a cloudy (and slightly rainy) day it was awesome!

Great trip in a very nice and well kept boat. Very friendly hosts that knew everything about the nature and history of the region. We saw many animals, had a great lunch and enjoyed the boat trip very much. Very recommendable.
