I like my local Arby's and their old-time fast food restaurant feel they have going. Big dining room, spaced out tables with chairs. BUT I very much enjoyed this updated feel to the experience as well.nnWe traveled from Kitchener to Thunder Bay for our summer vacation and hit Arby's before getting on the road home. The first thing that irked me was the unclear and nonsensical line-up queue. While it would make sense for the line queue to enter closer to the entrance, it simply was not designed this way.nnThe line starts, and requires people to go around the seating and squeeze past the people who are getting their drinks and waiting for their food, it then has you line up near the entrance where the queue should start in the opposite direction and with all that nonsense is a lack of signage directing people to this causeway.nnThat aside, ordering was simple, the employee had no problem hearing what we said that we wanted AND all 5 meals were made correctly. The food was as delicious as we expected it to be, we love the beef and we got what we wanted.nnAs stated, the dining room was a little more modern and that wasn't a bad thing, I actually enjoyed the stool chair combos and raised table there is normal tables as well.nnThe bathroom could use some work IMO, I'm grateful that I didn't have to drop a deuce as the toilet stall is quite cramped and a larger guy like myself would be fighting feelings of claustrophobia while moving the meat.nnI LOVE that this location is 30 seconds away from highway 17 because I now know where to go when we take our cross Canada trip.
$14 for 3 tenders meal that seemed like they were sitting around for awhile definitely not worth the pricethe cashier was friendly and got my stuff to me quick though fast food for you
Great food - always hot and well presented! Joe and the team are friendly, thoughtful and bring their heart to the service they provide. The best experience at Arby’s across Canada - always.nnWould recommend this team to train other locations so that the Arby’s experience customers encounter could be duplicated to this location’s high level of product quality, cleanliness and exceptional customer service.
Probably the best fast food in Thunder Bay. Ahah I mean, the curly fries are always a staple.
I only gave it 3 stars since the got rid of their crinkle fries. My son won't eat the curly fries, so we haven't been back since. They seem to have gone the way of McDonalds where they only give you one option for a side now, take it or leave it. I miss the salads, baked potatoes, and yes the crinkle fries.
