Well kept grounds. Lovely place to see different trees and watch for birds. Watch for cyclists.
It's a great place to visit with family and friends. You can get down on the snowy slopes or skate on the canal. I took my dog along and he had a lot of fun too. Dogs are allowed with a leash although most people were enjoying with their dogs without it.
Epic trees! Beautiful scenery with the canal. And there are several paths you can take to make your walk short or long. Dog friendly too!
The entire Dow’s Lake area is very beautiful! The Arboretum is no different. It’s a joy to walk through the area and breath in the energy of the trees.
Such a gem! A wonderful place for kids, dogs & families - to picnic or simply run around... and it's free, too.
in my home city! I had no idea! what a nice place to bike or walk and check out some wickedly awesome Canadian trees and flowers! I thought trees this big were only out west. I think it would take 4 grown adults linking arms to get around the biggest one there. love it. go check it out if you like nature.

Enjoyed a beautiful walk. Was nice to read the names on the tree tags, wish they were in Latin and English, as many were just in Latin. Was also nice to read the ones that were dedicated to people... Was a nice afternoon, thank you.
