Old barn, but ice is well kept. Stands can be cold, so dress warm.
I’ve been to this Arena to watch The John Abbott women’s hockey team in the past and this Arena is alright. The Pros: A It’s in a nice area. B It’s a nice design. C They have vending machines and coffee machines for food. D You can see players stopping by the dressing room so you get to see them. The Cons: A McGill needs to update the arena. B They need to add heaters to the benches during the winter. C Zamboni needs to be electric D Some don’t know where the arena is so make sure to double check. All in all it’s a nice hockey rink and hope to see some games here in the future.
The ice was great sue to low température but also its verry cold inside, the room are not bof and rhere is not many, the ice was thicker on the side and this was dangerous à little, there are not many seat for spectator, the parking is verry big
The arena is older. As other people have mentioned, the stands are cold so dress appropriately. The changing rooms are heated. I found it confusing to find the location, so leave a little earlier if this the first time you go.
Have played and fished in this arena for over 10 years. Can be cold if the heaters aren't on early or late in the season, but a great facility as long as your team is not in room #1. Sorry visitors. :
Old arena, bring warm clothes to watch a game. Minimal stands. No food service.
Not a modern arena. It is cold with insufficient heating for the audience. However, the ice is always hard and good.
This on-campus arena is well-used and a bit run-down... and very cold in winter bring a blanket! Watch your step on the way in and out; there's a trip hazard at the main entrance.
Good Arena with all facilities for regular hockey games and practices. Has adequate parking as well.
Best ice in the region! Parents dress warm, it's cold in there. Vending machines on site, no available snack bar so bring a hot cup of coffee to stay warm!
