I don't remember the last time I was here but we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The price is average for any attraction you would go like this. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable about questions we asked. There was information posted on each exhibit. They had live shows with the penguins and sea lions. And what I found best about this attraction was the sea creatures/ animals were all rescued for one reason or another and those that are able to be rehabilitated are let back out into their natural habitats.
The aquarium is good but small even though it's two levels. We expected more exhibits although the ones they had were really good especially the jellyfish. The seal show was excellent and made up for it a little bit. Good service when we had to cancel one ticket. Also we could do with a little less preaching about the environment at every single exhibit. Tell us more about the animals.
No major complaints other than you can't reenter? With 2 small ones it would have been cool if we could have come back for some of the demonstrations. However, it was clean and a part of the greater work that humans do with animals conservation and preservation! Very informative and interactive. The hurricane wind is fun, and the vending machine is cheap enough. We had fun!
The aquarium was a brief tour for us. It took about an hour. We did not see any of the scheduled shows poor timing on our part. The exhibits were well maintained and colorful. I got some beautiful pictures though! A great touch pool for visitors. We are from Baltimore and it is MUCH smaller than the The National Aquarium, so we were a bit surprised.
It is a great spot to check out with family with kids. There were performances with sea lions. It was amazing. There was also a small segment with penguins as well. It was good too. Although it was a little bit small compared to other aquariums but still had a lot of things happening. We enjoyed our time there.
Nice destination to visit while you’re in town visiting the national park. They don’t offer food or anything like that, and space is pretty limited. They still manage to fit in lots of great aquatic creatures and they have amazing displays. Not too bad on the ticket prices and on site parking available
2 floors full of sea creatures with an awesome gift shop. There were many times events throughout the day. We saw the the seals amaze us with their awesome power we could feel it when they swam quickly around the tank and acrobatics. Very fun.
I loved this aquarium. It's not the largest I've been to, but the animals are amazing. It was the first time I felt like the fish actually engaged with the visitors. We spent a good 10 minutes trying to show an angelfish that he wasn't tough sht you're not dude. The puffers will try to get your attention. The penguins will try to play with you. They all seemed very happy and healthy. They have baby cuttlefish!!
What an amazing place for adults and kids. They have sea lion show that is really an attraction. Well written details about each aquarium tank species. You can also touch the fish by two fingers only but not to touch the tail. Penguins are also huge fun. They like to observe you. Staff is very sweet. One must visit this beautiful aquarium!
Nice little aquarium, you can spend as much time here as you like. They have presentations throughout the day! We saw the sea lions and they were amazing. The only complaint but not taking a star would be the ray and shark pool. You kind of have to wait for them to come up to you since there's only about a 1.5 foot shelf that they need to be on for you to touch them. I understand that they need to feel safe and the pool is definitely large enough for them to move away from you.
