Extremely toxic environment. No one seems to know what they're doing, nor do they have any sort of customer service skills. I blame the buisiness owner, he's arrogant and rude, yells and screams at his own staff.... I have never heard someone yell like he has, I just so happened to be renting a u-haul from them when I walked into that. Worst experience ever. If another appliance company opened shop in their area they would starve. What a disgrace.
Much like others, I have been waiting now for over 6 months. I have been calling back and forth with the Brick, Frigidaire and Appliance Busters trying to figure out how to solve my freezer issue the most efficient way possible. I have a family of 6 and freezer space is detrimental. I just got off the phone with Appliance Busters while being nothing but polite and calm, the lady on the other end was yelling at me saying "I'm not putting up with this!" I asked her to calm down and let's talk about it. She then further yelled at me to the point where my wife could here her in the other room. The worker then accused me of having my phone on speaker. By the time this one sided yelling match was over, I was made to believe that I was the problem for following up with my repair on my expensive investment. One of the absolute worst companies to deal with. I cannot believe that this is a go to place for bigger Appliance companies. I support local any chance I can, but this place? I will never ever recommend to anybody. Good luck with your business, things are going to need to change for you guys to thrive.
Appliance busters is the worst people I have ever dealt with. They don't even deserve 1 star. The receptionist is ignorant and rude. They don't ever call you back . She told me the technician would be at my house in the afternoon. I had an appointment in the morning and was home before lunch. I called the office in the afternoon and was told he had been here in the morning and I wasn't home. I asked her to call him to say I was home. And that I was told he would be here in the afternoon. She refused to call him. After a couple more calls that I made to her. She then told me that he was back in elliot lake and would not be coming back. This was on December 23rd. I spoke to the technician and he told me he was to be at my place in the morning. I still have it recorded that she told me in the afternoon. She has removed my work order and refuse to come back. I would never want to have those ppl come back to my house. They should not be in business being rude, ignorant to people. And messing with the times of appointments. They should definitely look into getting a different receptionist. I have filed a complaint against them. Totally disgusted with their service.
They took my money for the initial consult and then I couldn't reach them after that...I will be contacting the police
This company has had me waiting since March concerning my washing machine. Tech came, said he had to order a part and then we fell off their radar screen . Called two days in a row and no answer on the phone. Today I called again and finally reached someone. She couldn’t find my work order and said she would call me back. I advised her I have been without a washing machine for almost 2 months and her company needs to call the insurer and have dialogue with them. She stated “we don’t do that” and only email. When I stated email obviously wasn’t working, she snipped back saying we’ve done this for 30 years. She stated they were busy due to two separate businesses. When I said thats not my problem she labeled me as verbally abusive. Nice deflection appliance busters. I have been a very patient person for 2 months and just want my washing machine fixed. If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen!
They showed up unanounced 2 hours early. He tried to bully my teenager into letting him in anyway. My husband called and was told they wouldnt come back for 2 weeks because we werent home. I called them myself and I couldnt get a word in edge wise, the woman who anwsered yelled at me for not being there and hung up. Completely unprofessional! I would rather buy brand new then have theese people in my home. Zero star rating!!!
I am having the worst experience with Appliance Busters! Not only did they forget to schedule my appointment and leave me hanging after 2 weeks waiting for scgeduled service. But then tried to make excuses for why the tech won't make spring my scheduled appointment and hung up on me in mid sentence.
I called on May 4th because my gas oven is not lighting. I was booked for someone to come out to look at it on May 11th 1 week wait. By mid-afternoon on May 11th when no one had arrived I called and was told that when they called me on the afternoon of May 10th and morning of May 11th I didn't answer so they moved on to other customers. I asked and was told they didn't leave a voice mail message because "they have way too many calls for that". When I scheduled the service on May 4th, I wasn't told that I would be passed over if I didn't answer my phone; since I use my cell phone to work from home I must have been on a call when they were calling since my phone is always next to me. VERY poor service, now I'm back to the drawing board to get my oven repaired. If I was told this on May 4th, I would have called someone else and not wasted an entire week!
Tried taking my Amana Whirlpool chest freezer there for the technician to evaluate under warranty 1.5 month new. Straight forward, I thought. I got yelled on the phone when I nicely asked them to reply to the email from Whirlpool to confirm nothing could be done for the freezer. The tech was rude and rude. Literally yelling at me! Even the lady that answered was making it sound like I asked for the world. I just needed them to reply to an email. That's it. Com'mon people. It's a time to just be nice for the sake of being nice. And yes, doing your job. Now my broken freezer is there as hostage. Don't don't deal with these people if at all avoidable!
Purchased a new GE fridge which unfortunately had issues after 3 months . I called GE to see what could be done , they said that Appliance busters would quickly solve the issue . Been trying to contact these folks , but been complexly ignored
