Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

The service was nice and the food was good but the drink I ordered was full up with ice and tasted like a coke in a large glass. I only had the one.

My husband & I have always loved Applebee's. This particular Applebee's has not been good for us. We have gone there 4 times, one was okay. Next visit we saw our waiter once to take our order, and again to drop off our bill. The food was delivered by someone else. My steak was over cooked, dry, & barely tepid, his was not warm at all! Next visit was basically the same, except we had a very nice waitress who sent back our cold food, and returned it still not warm....how does that happen? We told a Manager who only apologized. Last time, again cold mac & cheese, soup barely tepid. We got our zapped food back, from a very disgruntled looking waitress. We know our neighbors go there because it is their sons favorite. She says she puts up with cold or bad food for him. That was three strikes, we won't go back.

Over-priced with poor management. Only good deal is half-apps during happy "hour". Only a hand full of good servers. Problem is Elk River doesn't have many restaurants so this one of the only options.

Heavyset female bartender here right now moves slower than a turtle. She's actually sitting at a table eating right now...took 6 minutes for her to realize we were waiting for drinks and she was in NO HURRY to get up and make them. We decided not to stay and eat, waaay overpriced food!! Never coming back here.

We have eaten here numerous times in the last year or so. Every time it is good, sometimes great. Happy hour specials are not worth the time management to get there, just a little added bonus if you do, not much savings.
