Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I have worked in the food service industry before so I am extremely understanding of any mistakes or anything that may affect the time in receiving food. I am definitely somebody who is on the servers side. What started out as a promising visit, tanked. Hard. The restaurant was not that busy when we arrived and it took over thirty minutes to receive our food. I got charged for a margarita I didn't even order, decided to just deal with it. The server didn't check in with us at all while we were waiting. A simple sorry for the wait would be aye okay and then have another employee bring our warm and cold food out and forget part of our orders. Not cool. Step it up on the customer service please.

Order the 2 for 20 shared with my wife, got the chicken and shrimp. Chicken tasted burnt but was not seasoning was heavy on certain spots which made it taste that way. Service was awesome though, order was right first time, very nice staff.

Be careful what you order. When my food arrived it was not as described. I told the waitress and was told for an additional fee I could get the sauce that was supposed to be on my pasta. Not happy and not going back.

Food and service is good. Overall very satisfied. Another bonus is the 2 for 25 not 27 that always pisses me off

Probably going to ramble in this review. The service was really good the margaritas tasted alright. My daughter said her kids steak and potatoes were really good. Our boys mini cheeseburgers look the little plane but he said he liked them and he really lined the apple fritters and yogurt dip. My wife said her Burger was absolutely delicious. My quesadilla burger was alright not really sure what it was missing maybe it was just too simple(should have came with more toppings. Both of us had fries and they seemed more generic then a fast food joint. Prices seem to have gone up and quality has slipped a little. It seems like they're trying to compete with a sit-down restaurant and fast food joint as well as a bar of sorts playing music and whatnot. I feel like they need a little Focus.
