Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Really upset on our last visit to Applebee's. Norammly for my husband and myself at the most our bill rounds to $45. This last time it was 70! We ordered about the same as we always do. So I was super upset about that. Don't get me wrong the food is always good but the portions was if not half the size as they use to be yet they are charging more! I had a lemonade with strawberry in it it was 4$ without alcohol! ! For a lemonade! Then the stupid tablet thing at the tables. What is the point of having a waitress if they are forcing you to order with that thing. And then when it came to the bill we had to swipe our card on there. Which is a huge security risk in my opinion but we did not have enough cash so we had to swipe and I try ed giving out card to waitress to do it at the register but she made us use the tablet! The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because the food was still good but nothing else was!

Horrible.... Appetizers came out 2 minutes before our food with 5 people at a table this leaves no room for anything. My med-rare steak was well done, by the time I got the second one everyone else was done eating, it came back without my shrimp and parmesan topping. And the waiter seemed as tho he had no idea what he was doing or able to answer any questions we had asked him with certainty or without having to run off and ask someone else. I went home with a headache and hungry!!!

My friend ordered a 12 oz specialty steak for 20 dollars and got a little puny looking 6 oz. No thnx rip. Server was nice tho

On my Easter Sunday I went out to dinner with my family. The man at the door next to the hostess then says to me "happy rabbit day". I was disgusted. Please do not belittle my religion. Do not simplify the most sacred holiday down to a tasteless joke. Will not be coming here ever again. Disgusted.
