Showed up ten minutes before they opened to get an iPad replaced there is at least 20 workers and there making me wait till 1030 before they can help me apparently you need an appointment before they can help me so being the first in-line means nothing I was gonna make some other purchases for my office but not now I talked to a manager and he basically didn’t care that I thought I should get helped right away. I am sitting in the store now waiting for service I’ll make a second review if this gets worse.
A relative made the mistake of buying my daughter a crapple product and there was issues with it out of the box. It seems apple doesn’t want people utilizing the Genius Bar given the lengths they go to to hide the option for reserving an appointment on their website. We arrive at the store 20 min early to check in and are told we are too early to check in and to come back in 10 minutes. In previous experiences, if you show up on time for this appointment they make you wait a half hour past your reservation to see someone this time was no different. Knowing that we would be forced to waste our time in the store while staff got around to honouring our appointment at their leisure we came back 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment to find that our appointment had been canceled. Apparently if you’re 5 minutes past your appointment they cancel it. Like I said, they really don’t want people using the Genius Bar. So the sales rep put us back in the queue, or so we were told. After twiddling or thumbs for 20 minutes, we come to find out that the sales rep had in fact not added us to the queue. This is typical of the customer service, or lack thereof that I’ve come to expect from Apple. You would think paying a high premium for their products which is more indicative of their willingness to gouge their customers that have been marketed to to believe that Apple products offer some sort of elevation in status and prestige, rather than reflecting the actual quality of the products on offer would at least buy you decent customer service. But it does not. I hope this is the last time I need to deal with this company.
Amazing Apple Store location. Staff is super friendly and helpful even in a high traffic location. Employee Kim is a superstar and helped out with top notch customer service, will be back A++++++
The customer service representatives were very helpful and nice people. They explained in details the problems with my device and what they could do and couldn’t. Although their services are very expensive which is normal.. overall apple Southgate centre is one of the few places I’ve been to with such excellent service. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get their apple related products fixed, trade in or if they need advise and help.
The staff here weren’t bad at all even though extremely busy always remained cordial. However once the product is sent for repairs , Dealing with APPLE. Is a whole new ballgame and so far from my experience not a good one. But the Genius Bar was good , the classes they teach are awesome
The same issue with this store as other upset customers. Very bad customer experience. Not a busy time, loads of staff members simply standing there, talking to each other or idly and letting you wait for a salesperson to serve you for buying a new iPhone. I asked them why they were so slow as most of them had nothing to do here and why don’t you give me the phone and I pay and I leave. The manager didn’t think this was their problem and he didn’t care your feedback. If you are dissatisfied, you could choose to go to online ordering or other stores, that’s what he said. I would recommend Apple to give sales authority to Amazon so I don’t have to deal with this incompetent and arrogant staff anymore. Shame on Apple team.
I dread coming to this place! It’s never straightforward! Came as soon as they opened today 24-09-22 because my charger was not working. Was asked what I wanted and I mentioned I might need a new charger and the girl said it was a 1 hr wait or appointment. Why does one need an appointment for a minor thing as replacing a charger. I choose the appointment and came back and the girl I met could be more politewas wearing glasses, brown hair in a blue jeans. Please be respectful. Nobody comes there to be spoken to like a child! I did not get your name but you know yourself! They make you wait even with booked appointments. We all have things to do with our time. The only good thing was the young black girl who eventually helped Me Nycee sorry if the spelling is wrong! keep it up. You are honest and very helpful. Do better Apple Southgate! I say a prayer before coming here and because I dont know how the experience will be!
Edit: All the paragraph below is for the « on the phone » customer services, after being hanged up twice, I decided to drive to the store and I had the chance to talk to the sweetest woman on earth ! She was able to fix my issues within 10 minutes and I walked out with everything I ordered. She’s the best! Thanks Real bunch of idiots. I ordered for $600 of product and they mislabeled the package; instead I receive headphones at $250. I called to get the issue fixed, but they can’t send me my products back. It will takes days before the investigation is completed. In the meantime, I lost $600 and can’t have the products I ordered. I paid extra to have it the next day Not only the customer services was terrible, but they hang up on me, so I had call back and go to through full the process all over again.
My only experience at this location was when my iPhone battery was swollen and effectively became a fire hazard. They couldn't give me the phone back because it was too dangerous, but they were thrilled to sell me a new phone! More of a reflection of my distaste for Apple's business practices, because I know the staff are just doing what corporate wants.
If you wanna see how to do a bad customer service, must come here. Even i had appointment, still I’m standing here from 1/2hr . No one for assisting. 4-5 representative rounding around. Busy in their gossip. No buddy even asked me why i am standing here . I wanted to share pictures but I don’t want to. And now they are about to close too still they didn’t even recognize me that why I’m in store. Totally ridiculous service ever i had.
