I came in to get a cracked screen repaired. It was my second time trying to come in and get this done. They took my phone and then told me it would not connect although why they needed to connect it and how was not explained, they just kept repeating the same word like I would know what it meant or why it had to be connected to replace a screen despite my phone connecting fine to charging and computers and other technology. They then lost all my data trying to do something, I don't know what, and they did not explain it well. Then they tried to sell me a replacement double the price of the new screen. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this experience, as my phone is not even 1.5 years old. The tone was also quite condescending and I had to make a big financial decision within several minutes. They did not seem to appreciate that for some people, this is a big decision and also a huge stressor and very disappointing. I would have appreciated some kindness or some kind of offer to try and help but nope. I don't often leave negative reviews but this is my third experience in this store that left me feeling stupid, stressed, and worse off than when I came in. How can a person come in just to fix a cracked screen and leave with no phone, no screen, and NOTHING LEFT on the phone? I have an older model that I like and now I'll be stuck paying money I don't have for a phone I don't want. Standing there crying with 10 staff watching you is not a great experience to have in a store.
Went for a visit today. Nice staff. Very accommodating with seniors. It also seems child-friendly as I saw they have activities for kids like coding or building apps.
I really would like to give a higher review, because everybody was nice and the service was good. I had my battery repaired and it works much better now. However, nobody told me that they took the screen protector off of the front of my phone and now I have some new cracks in it because it felt from the nightstand to the floor. I believe if I had my screen protector, this damage would not have occurred.
Came to this store a few weeks ago to purchase air pod pros. Had to flag down a sales person but once I did they were fast and friendly. I purchased the air pods and was in and out in 5 mins max super fast and easy. They email you the receipt and best part is Apple has a 14 day return policy even if used! I ended up returning them since I found my original pair and no questions asked they took them back even. Though I used them for over a week.
Be careful, check what you are entitled to when purchasing Apple Care. It happened to me where a sales associate grossly misrepresented what Apple Care includes.nnApple Care at $225 was sold to me as two battery changes - one per year valued at $100 each, regardless of battery performance - plus $25. Had I had known this was not the case I would not have purchased Apple Care and I would have taken my chances.nnI want to caution people on trusting what an Apple employee says when trying to close a sale. Because apparently you need to fact check or get it in writing - it’s you that will take the hit, not Apple.nnNot only did Apple deny my new battery request - they also had no empathy for my situation. And worse they did not care or believe that someone sold me Apple Care in this way. I left the Apple Store feeling both wronged and gaslighted.nnThis is fraud. It is Apple’s responsibility to train their employees on the products they are selling. I wonder how many people like myself bought Apple Care under false pretences? To then later have no recourse and see Apple deny all responsibility and accountability.
