Decent course given the drought conditions. Prioritized irrigation for the greens which was smart because they were great. Basic, short older New England design. Nothing fancy but a nice ego boost and handicap. With the drought-induced September rolls, many of the par-4s can be driven, even witnessed another gentleman's first eagle. Would give 4-5 stars if the greens fees were commensurate with the course.
Dad and myself played this course last week. Front Staff and starter were friendly and helpful as usual. But my lord the course is absolutely terrible. Fairways are patchy and brown. Greens are Aeratedmiddle of July and full of brown patches as well as other forms of damage to the greens. They seem to have given up on bunkers all together as they have not been cared for at all. No new sand at all. Grass is growing through the bunkers. The mowing is awful and they’re leaving huge chunks of grass all over the fairways. This course used to be amazing a couple years ago. I’m really bummed they have let it get this bad. . . Fast forward a year later and the staff was great as usual. But the course is STILL is terrible shape. Fairways are muddy and patchy. Greens are awful too. Not worth $48 whatsoever. They had a year to get this thing back to better condition and failed miserably. The photo below is from the 18th green on 5/11/2022. Most of the greens are in similar shape as the photo. Zero bunkers too. Extremely Disappointed.
the course is quite nice actually! muddy fairways and patchy grass, but the greens were decent. staff was rude from the beginning and followed us to the third hole on a golf cart to make sure we were playing? not sure to be honest. staff and people behind us made us feel rushed even though we had 2 groups ahead of us that we had to wait for.
Wonderful people working at the course, they were all very helpful and nice. The course itself is a decent layout but the lower rating is due to the incredibly thin grass in all fairways. Most of the time you might as well be hitting off bare ground, there was no grass under the ball anywhere on the course. In dire need of fixing that situation. Greens were pretty nice though.
Couple of my friends and I went here on a hot summer day. Great course and it's good for all skill levels
Great people working here! But the fairways/greens have very little grass. Expect to shoot high numbers here, it’s like shooting off of clay on literally all 18 fairways.
worst, roughest course I've ever played at.. Fairways and greens are a total mess..., i don't think they have an actual greens keeper..., But they charge FULL price as if its a true, well kept course.... don't waste your money or your time.... don't waste your money or
The best round of golf I've played in years not talking about my score card just the overall experience. The staff was super nice and I can't wait to return.
Played this course on Sunday after a long night celebrating. We were in rough shape but luckily the course was not. My foursome walked away thinking that we had found a hidden gem.
Fantastic as always, very challenging yet makeable shots. Great time.
