This store is great, staff are super friendly and helpful! Yesterday we had a great time making purchases with a couple different awesome sales people, and then Joel at the Genius Bar was so nice and kind he helped me out by cleaning out my speaker on my iPhone. This is a great location!
I just got my new iPhone 16 Pro max last week, I only used it for five days now. However the screen is kind of lagging comparing my 13 pro max, I always need to double clicks the screen. So I book an appointment here to seek for help. But the staff, I should ask his name at first, he said I am the first one, only one having this problem. I don’t why he mentioned that. And when I show lagging, he said there is no problem with his finger. I believe there is different for everyone’s finger. But if my thumb is no problem with my 13 pro max then it shouldn’t have problem with the 16 pro max, right? So I asked that did my thumb change when using different phone, he said “maybe”, excuse me? So I cut my thumb and replaced another to use my 13 pro max. He is not helping at all and triggers my anger. I am here for fix the problem rather than letting you question me and conclusion that it’s my own problem.
I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Guildford store. My iPhone 14’s battery couldn't hold a charge, so I brought it in for repair. Instead of providing an honest assessment, they claimed the swollen battery had caused significant damage and quoted me over $500 for repairs.nnFeeling unsure and pressured, I was persuaded to buy a new iPhone 16 with AppleCare. However, I later took my phone to a repair shop located in South Surrey, where they quickly replaced the battery in an hour—turns out, there was no damage to other parts of the phone. Total cost was $140 including diagnosis fee. Apple Guildford store completely misled me just to push an expensive upgrade.nnThis pratice was deceptive and unethical. I won’t be trusting Apple Guildford for repairs again.
Came in to buy a new phone for first time since the iPhone 8…Quinn saw I needed help and went through the whole process with me step by step. Her customer service is incredible. After some issues with the bank and my spending limit stopped the purchase initially she went out of her way and tried to help me figure out a few ways to still make the purchase and ultimately we put the phone on hold for me to come back and grab. Came back same day and was helped by Mercy who was very kind to finish the purchase. This review is 100% because of Quinn. Give her a raise ASAP.
