We visited the arcade in the golf clubhouse. It was so fun. They have regular adult games, and games for kid size. That's extremely amazing for family with little kids. Machines are very well maintained and clean. It'd be a perfect venue for birthday party, if they offer this service.
A pretty links course set into the rolling prairie just north of Airdrie. This course is harder than it looks and on a windy day, it can make you want to quit golf. Most tee shots are inviting and landing zones are generous but there are few wind breaks and your ball can easily be carried off into an OB zone. Approach shots can be tough due to the tabletop greens and runoffs into green side hazards. The course also seems to be very dry right now which makes it even harder. While drives roll out further, the greens aren’t receptive at all. It’s like pitching onto concrete. At the same time, the greens are inconsistent and a bit scraggly so you have to keep guessing at the pace. I’m not complaining, I enjoyed the challenge but this course is not for the faint of heart. You’ve been warned!
I have played this course twice this week and have genuinely enjoyed both rounds. The protected wetlands and the restrictions around them have forced me to lay up and focus on my target more than other local courses. I enjoy the challenge and the beautiful scenery. The halfway house being so accessible during the round is also great to grab a snack or drink between holes. The prices are competitive and I have had no issues getting a tee time so I will be back soon!
The Arcade area definitely adds a plus to the whole complex. Restaurant has decent food and the service is great. The course was a bit dry but that makes sense being the end of the season. The layout of it makes you have to be aware of other golfer’s hits.
Start with the positives, club house and half way very nice. Murals and arcade areas looked great. Now the so-so the gentleman checking us in was dismissive and it seemed like us coming to give his course money was a major inconvenience. The course needs water fairways super dry like playing off dirt not grass. If you are going to try this course maybe try earlier in the season and don't expect a warm welcome at check in.
It was a beautiful day for golf, but the course is in okay shape. The fairways are very dry, and the greens are not in the best of shape either.
i found this course particularly challenging. hazards in front of a lot of greens, elevated greens making the fringe practically useless and making you have to stick the green. it was pretty challenging to me. that being said, challenge is where you find your strengths and weaknesses. i will definitely be back to conquer this course and hopefully shoot a little better
Great atmosphere & amazing pizza with a beautiful view on the patio . Beer on tap is delightful too with very friendly service
Tough links style course. Has some challenging holes, with the greens being nicely protected by high brush. A nice 600+ yard par 5. Too bad the island tee box wasnt open, that would be fun. The course did get backlogged a bit. Its nice that the halfway house is accessible after every few holes. The clubhouse was decent. Had some wings and a beer.
Amazing and FUN Apple Creek is offering 20$ "PLAY ALL YOU CAN" on their Arcade and it wass sooooo worth it Monday to Thursday If you wanna have fun with your Friends and Family try here , they also have a Restaurant
