It's a great place to watch movies, and my friends and I usually go there about once a month. While the theater isn't super fancy or equipped with a high-quality sound system, it’s perfect for international audiences like us since they release all the latest movies here. The classic membership makes it cost-effective, and the popcorn and drinks are pretty good too. Heads up—if the movie is sold out, finding a parking spot can be tricky, so plan ahead. The customer service is top-notch, making it an excellent spot to enjoy a movie with friends or family!
Here’s the revised review with your additional points:nn---nn**Apollo Cinemas - Kitchener**nnI recently visited Apollo Cinemas in Kitchener and had an excellent movie experience. The cozy, intimate setting, paired with comfortable reclining seats, made it a perfect spot for a relaxed night out. One feature I particularly enjoyed was the small tables by each seat, allowing for a convenient place to set your snacks and drinks. The spacing between rows was also generous, providing a sense of privacy and comfort.nnWhat’s even better is that they offer a great deal for students, including an annual membership at a discounted rate, which makes it even more affordable. It's conveniently located near King Street and the City Hall station, making it easy to access by public transit.nnThe sound and picture quality were outstanding, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the variety of snacks and beverages beyond the usual options, adding a nice touch to the experience.nnFor a more laid-back and personal movie outing, Apollo Cinemas is definitely worth checking out. Whether you’re catching a blockbuster or an indie film, it’s a great venue with affordable pricing and a cozy atmosphere.
Went to see The Apprentice at the @Apollo Cinema and it was a great experience! It was my first time there. The theatre was clean and the staff were very nice! The movie was compelling but also shocking and disturbing at times. I enjoyed the acting in the movie and felt they captured the 1970's very well. If Donald Trump interests you and you want to know how he became the way he is today I recommend this movie!
Went recently to watch Heretic, been going since 2017. The staff have always been great over the years, and the current team is a real stand out. The pop corn is great, seating is lovely with the tables and their movie selection is brilliant
End of an era. Management has decided to stop playing western/Hollywood films. I can’t believe how much I paid to “sponsor” two of the chairs during the pandemic when times were tough for Apollo, only for them to turn around and slap me in the face. Unreal.
