The best Greek restaurant in Hamilton. Every dish was well seasoned and tasty. The waitress helped us chose the best options and we were not disappointed, the moussaka was amazing, the spicy dip with pita - well flavoured. The Greek salad was fresh and tasty. The baklava was the best we have ever had. Full of nuts, not too sweet and served warm. It paired really well with our Greek coffees. We have to go back- they was so much more to try. From watching the steady stream of food delivery people- this place is no secret.
Wow that dinner was sooo good. This restaurant is super underrated, a hidden gem in Hamilton. Loved the eggplant dip $7!!! and chicken skepasti. Delicious Greek food, super friendly service… we will most definitely be back!Food: 5/5
My husband and I popped in here for dinner. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. It's a nice, quiet space with fantastic service. We tried 3 dishes we'd never heard of before and were blown away. We are not Greek, but I feel confident in saying that this was very well done, traditional greek food. The owner came out and chatted with us for a bit about the food, which was very nice. They have wine, beer and soon to be cocktails. The dishes we shared were tirokafteri the most amazing hot pepper dip I have ever tried, served with pita. The shrimp saganaki fantastic!!! and the chicken skepasti, which is essentially a greek pita made into a hot sandwich. It was honestly to die for. We're so happy we found this little gem!
Amazing time at Apllada! The staff are helpful and friendly. Food was incredible. Would definitely recommend it to others. There is limited seating maybe seating for 20 max inside, so if you're going during a busy period, make sure you make a reservation. I don't normally take food photos, but I figured I'd share these bad ones. Cheers : Vegetarian options: A few vegetable options, ability to remove dairy for vegan.
I am an independent restaurant supporter and I cannot emphasize the high quality of the food, service, as well as the very generous servings at Apllada. Not only was everything I received incredibly flavorful, but the portions were above what you would get in a chain restaurant. I find that many times a lot of places I go out to eat lose quality in their food, but when you come to places like this, there's an extra little bit of TLC. You can tell that the food was cooked with love. I highly highly recommend this restaurant as the staff made my experience very memorable. The food speaks for itself. I look forward to coming back again soon. My recommendation is the Spetsofai if you like spicy sausage. This dish packs in so much flavour. This place has only been around for a year so people who are foodies like me, start spreading the word!! Vegetarian options: They do have some vegan options so make sure to ask your server Dietary restrictions: Street parking can be a real pain, but the food makes it worthwhile.

We ordered take out, and everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and made with love! I saw a few other reviewers say the food here is better than greek places in Toronto, and I agree. We bought many dishes for our family to share, and everyone loved everything, and pleasing everyone is hard!. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, we will definitely eat here many more times to come.
The food is good, portion is big. My Greek friend said the taste is better than most Greek restaurants in Toronto. Definitely worth to come back again.
The food is absolutely phenomenal. The first time I tried it, I was blown away with how good it was. Since then, I've tried to go once a month. The quality of the ingredients and the flavours are perfection. Staff are always lovely and very friendly. They make you feel like you're stepping into Yaya's kitchen.Food: 5/5
