I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Apex Urgent Care. From start to finish, the level of service and care was far below what I expected, and I feel compelled to share my experience.nBOTH APEX URGENT CARE & CALEDON COMPOUNDING PHARMACY!nnWhen I initially saw the doctor, I was prescribed a specific medication that was supposed to address my condition. However, when I went to the pharmacy, which is conveniently located in the same office, I was given a completely different medication. I was not informed of this change, nor was I consulted about it. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, I was told that the pharmacy had run out of the medication originally prescribed, so the doctor ordered a different one without my consent. This is unacceptable.nnTo make matters worse, I was told that the medication I originally needed was unavailable anywhere, yet I found it within minutes at another pharmacy. This suggests to me that the doctor and pharmacy at Apex Urgent Care are more interested in giving business to each other than in providing proper patient care. They also charged me the medicine double of what was in market. Very dishonest people..nnAfter three days of using the incorrect medication with no improvement in my condition, I went back to the urgent care to demand the correct prescription. Instead of rectifying their mistake, I was told by the front desk staff that I would need to see the doctor again, which would mean paying for another visit. I refused, as this was an error on their part, not mine.nnOverall, I feel deceived and neglected by both the doctor and pharmacist at Apex Urgent Care. They made decisions about my treatment behind my back, which is unethical and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this urgent care to anyone, as they clearly do not have their patients' best interests at heart.
I agree with all other reviews talking about rude staff, personally experienced today and really really surprised that despite of all those reviews they are still working there. It means management doesn’t read all the reviews. If they do, they won’t be working there anymore.nDoctor is good and clinic is new and clean.nI went in today and the receptionist was busy on phone and when I tried to say hello to start the conversation she didn’t even reply to my hello and talked very rudely.nThe other nurse was also very rude and unprofessional.nnI was so happy that now we have this facility at walking distance but I don’t think I would go back again.nnIt’s worth driving 15-20 minutes than dealing with this unprofessional staff at this clinic.nnVery disappointed….
This was the best experience I have ever had at an urgent care/walk-in. Very minimal wait time. The best part of my experience was meeting Dr,He was so attentive, empathetic, and helpful! His positivity and kindness made my visit so easy. Would highly recommend!!!
I took my daughter on a Friday evening after dinner and was in and out within a half an hour! Ladies at the front desk were kind and helpful. Doctor asked questions to rule out other ailments before jumping to what we suspected and testing her for. The prescription was conveniently filled quickly at the pharmacy in the clinic! We will definitely be back when we need to see a doctor! Thanks!
Where it’s mentioned that patients should be calm and polite to the staff at reception desk it will not be tolerated. There 1 more msg should be written at same place that staff should also be calm and polite to the patients.. patients are not coming there to party or for picnic there are visiting clinic when they are not well .they should also be treated nicely. Not all staff 1 girl at the front desk is very rude and doesn’t know how to behave with the patients .
