Antler Shanty

Our family just spent 3 days here and stayed in the cottage, we loved it! I cannot say enough about the staff, so very helpful and friendly! There is nothing they didn’t think of here to entertain children. The cottage itself was SO clean and comfortable, way beyond our expectations. The water park was amazing and once again the staff were remarkable. The entire place was great but the service from the staff was OUTSTANDING! Definitely will be returning!

We’ve been 6 times now most recently for 3 nights in a standard family suite and have had a great time every time. Any time we have come across minor issues they resolve it quickly. The staff working at the lodge are very helpful and friendly. The water park is fun for a variety of ages. We’ve been going since my son was 3 - he’s 9 now and still loves it. We always get the meal packages and the food at the buffet is very good with a lot of variety for all tastes. We usually stay for 2 nights as we find 1 is not enough time to do everything. If you want to have a great time as a family I’d highly recommend Great Wolf Lodge! Rooms: Rooms are clean and have everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable. Food & drinks: Food is great - especially the buffet breakfast and dinner

Home from another GREAT stay at great wolf lodge! We always have a blast and our kids ask us all year long when we are going back! The staff are all so friendly. We had a lovely breakfast with Victoria as our server. She was so friendly, caring and attending to us! You can tell how much she loves her job. Lifeguard Jen is always hard at work, but made time to chat with us about her job and family life while we were in the water park. Another fantastic stay with memories made and looking forward to the next stay!

We had a very enjoyable holiday here. There is lots to do for kids of all ages. They have story time in the morning as well as bedtime story time in the evening. There is a huge choice of activities that kids can be involved in. They also have paid entertainment for the older children such as a wizard quest that takes them throughout the hotel to various interactive displays to complete a quest. We saw many children completing this either on their own or with a parent. They seemed to be enjoying this a lot. There is also the arcade and the bowling alley downstairs. And don't forget the water park! The buffet meals were very good. The quality of the food was of a high quality. We did find that the ribs were often overcooked and dry, but that was just a minor matter. The Buckets restaurant in the water park itself was highly recommended by someone there, and we were not disappointed. Again, good quality food and good quantity. We brought snacks along on this holiday, but barely touched them. The only thing that we ended up getting more of is drinks. The water park was not too busy, even on the busiest days, and were enjoyed by all.

We have been taking our kids here for the past 3 years over spring break. We have never been disappointed! So much to do for all ages, our favourite is the kid cabin suite. The kids absolutely love it! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. The food is delicious. We love the build a bear, bowling and arcade We will be back again to continue our tradition.

We had a great time here! So much fun for the whole family! Small water slides for small kids, big ones for teenagers and adults. Treasure hunting, arcade gaming available too. Food was good and fairly priced. Rooms were clean and decent size. The only thing we didn't like and our friends in another either was the noise coming out of somewhere above us. It looks like it was a transformer of some kind. It made it difficult for us to fall asleep. Other than that, it was awesome!

We had a wonderful time at Great Wolf Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our very energetic son had a blast at the water park, enjoyed the playful and relaxed vibe, and was able to run around without the risk of breaking anything / disturbing other families. We stayed on the main floor which was convenient. The light switches are very accessible for the little ones, which was fun for him but a little annoying for us he kept turning off the lights. The bathroom smelled like urine; it made me question the overall cleanliness of the room, but it wasn’t a showstopper.. just treated it like a public washroom. The layout of the room was super functional. We enjoyed the bedtime story time in the main lobby. Overall, it was a great getaway. We will definitely be back!

Overall Great Wolf Lodge Niagara needs a renovation. Very outdated rooms, the humidity and air circulation in the water park and throughout the hotel was very bad. The black mold really needs to be addressed. Good -serve child friendly food at a reasonable price. -free parking. -the laser tag pizza special. -staff are very good with young children Cons -air circulation BAD -Black mold, could see black mold above the towel distribution centre and the gate of the splash pad kiddie slides. -Big Slides: first level 2 lifeguards per 3 slides -Big Slides: second level 1 life guard per 3 slides -Splash pad: 1 lifeguard per 4 slides, who occasionally wasn’t there. Kids were unable to go on the slides. -hardly ever any tubes available for slides having to wait 10 minutes for a tube then proceeding to wait 30 minutes in the slide lines. -hardly any games in the arcade working. -double bed in the kid cabin, why no queen? -Rude bartenders

We came at Christmas time and we were having a ball. Staff super friendly. Loads of activities. A lot of money but excellent value. My family never wants to leave. My daughter had a reaction to the chlorine on the second day. The new manager directed us to medication. Took one look at my daughter's devastated face and gave her extra bowling games , laser tag and points for the arcade. We were up for awhile putting cool cloths on the rash and became late for breakfast. Our daughter slept in. Gave us late check-out. I thought he was very kind and we appreciated it very much. We had an amazing stay. What stuck out the most and made it even more memorable was the exceptionally friendly and kind staff. Every single staff member went above and beyond and made us feel very welcomed. The waterpark was great. We had our two sons who are 5 months old and 2.5 with us and there was plenty for them to enjoy. My husband even got 1.5 hours of free time to go enjoy the water slides by himself when myself and our boys toured around the arcade and trading post store. We 100% will be back soon!
