The Antigonish Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) is a feminist, community-based women's organization which opened in 1983. SASA stands for Sexual Assault Services Association.
The Women's Centre welcomes women and adolescent girls from all cultures and backgrounds.
It is a woman friendly place to access information, to met other women, to share knowledge, and to work on common interests and for social change.
It is a place to learn form each other and to contribute to building a healthy community.

The role of the Women's Centre is to provide women with information and support they need to make informed and healthy decisions for themselves and their families.
