Recommends to visit at least once since its feels like an art gallery. Hip and Psychedelic. Work from home and feel a bit off? This is the best solution! Amazing drinks, friendly service, and private areas in case you need to attend a meeting call. You pay by the hour, unlimited drinks and snacks. I would definitely do 5 stars, but drop one off for a bit clean up/tidiness needed.
Place is gorgeous. Very neat view on Place-des-Arts. Good place to study. Loved the drinks. Price has increased significantly over the years but food quality and options have decreased equally significantly. Great on occasions but not worth it anymore for regular study sessions.
I loved it! It’s not my first anti cafe experience, but first in Montreal. You feel like at home this place is huge and even if there is a lot of people you can find a room or corner where you can feel privately comfortable. This place is full of small details, books, plants and decorations that make it so interesting to explore. Highly recommend it
The vibes and decoration are immaculate. It is a very clean disorder, so much to see… and so much to eat!! You pay by the hours, for an unlimited amount of food and drinks. It’s an ideal location to work in team or study by yourself. It might get quite expensive if you don’t eat anything or just drink a little though.
I absolutely LOVE this place. It’s the perfect coworking space for those who enjoy working in coffeeshops. Lots of places inside there are two whole floors!, super cozy, great natural lighting, nice view over place-des-arts… good spot to hang out with your friends and play boardgames or cards. A real gem.
Officially my new favorite study place! The decor is so beautiful, its very vintage and psychadelic, can't wait to go back <3
I think im in love with this place. We came here while visiting from toronto and im absolutely obsessed. The russian guy working there was like a ball of positivity, and he made us coffee. We were the firdt customers in the morning and he talked to us a lot and helped us figure everything out. Staying and using anticafe's resources is on an hourly based rate. You pay a certain amount every hour, up to a maximum of 15 dollars a day, and stay/eat anything. The cafe itself is two storeys with a lot of rooms in a mix-and-match maximalist aesthetic. It feels like an odd home, which is warm and inviting, but still quirky. My only problem: a lot of the plants were not doing well, especially the ones on the first floor. I hope they get the care they need. Direct sun and underwatering might be the problems. That aside, I felt at home there. Next time I'm im montreal, I will definitely visit again.
Absolutely love the ambience in the space: the craft of the furniture, the choice in paintings, the balance that the plants provide, the calmness on the second floor, the selection of drinks - it’s hands down one of the best coworking space I’ve used in Montreal. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place seems pretty clean. My bill is generally $17-18 for 4-6 hours but if that’s the price I’m paying for a pleasant work experience with constant access to snacks and drinks - then I’d say it’s a great bang for the buck!
Whether you're passing by and popping in for half an hour, or going to this place as a destination, it's great for any purpose. The decorations do not let you get bored while waiting for the order, and the service is very fast. And the hospitality of the hosts cheers up and warms the cold word "business".
Amazing place! And friendly staff! It’s such a nice cozy quiet place to do some work. You get unlimited drinks and snacks. And the drinks were delicious. Thank you!
