Story

Anthony Buono is among the leading domestic relations attorneys in the County. He represents clients in the Family Courts and Supreme Courts of the Capital District in all types of domestic relations matters.

Anthony Buono is a cum laude graduate of both Albany Law School and St. Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont. After graduation from law school, Anthony Buono served as an Assistant District Attorney for Columbia County.

In August 1996 Anthony Buono started his own law practice.

Anthony Buono has tried many civil and criminal cases. These include trials in child custody , support and other matters in Family Court as well as divorce and other civil matters in Supreme Court. Anthony Buono also has argued before the Appellate Division of the Third Department of the New York Supreme Court.

Anthony Buono lives in Valatie with his Wife and his three children. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Columbia County Bar Association. He served as the Secretary of the Columbia County Bar Association for twelve years. He has been a volunteer firefighter with the Valatie Fire Department for seventeen years.

Anthony Buono is a member of SPAAMFAA. He has authored two books; One Last Run: Apparatus Photos from Collection of the FASNY Museum of Firefighting and 175 Years of Service: The History of the Valatie Fire Department.
