This is hands down the best southern food I’ve had. The sautéed shrimp and cheesy grits are out of this world. As are the collard greens, cornbread, fried fish and bbq chicken. We stopped here on our way back on road trip as we googled soul food near us. The food was really good as well as the service. I would definitely go back here if ever in the area.

Quality food. The fried chicken was so moist with a nice crunch, the baked beans were so well seasoned, and the collard greens was flavorful. Everything was just right, didnt need to add salt or hot sauce. We also had some sweet potato pie right out of the oven, which was so comforting. Truly home style cooking and cant wait to come back and introduce this place to others!
My husband and I seeked out this place on line when we were in the area and I have to say we were very pleased! The food had our taste buds in awe! The cornbread, mac&cheese she use velvetta potato salad she use red potatoes collard greens, string beans, yams and biscuit with gravy all yum! We definitely have to go during the week to try her turkey wings, meat loaf and smothered chicken.. YUP! We will be back!
The food here is amazing! The staff in my experience have always been friendly. The portion sizes are two meals worth of food. Get the banana pudding for dessert.Food: 5/5
This is by far the best restaurant in Monticello! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the people are friendly and the food is amazing!!! Especially the disco fries makes life happier

Food here is simply amazing !!! I’ve come here about 4 times within one week. When I don’t feel like cooking , this is the only place in Monticello that is getting my money ! Corn bread is so moisttttttt ….
Annie's is truly a gem in the little town in Monticello. Definitely a favorite place to eat when visiting. Had about half of the menu items, so far, everything has been amazing! Definitely try the collard greens, string beans, and baked beans!
