it’s a nicely decorated place. The servers are a bit of a hit or miss regarding that it depends on which workers are there on that day. Today was great. The servers were nice and had always routinely checked up on us. However they definitely need to hire more servers. 2 workers can not serve the entire place filled with customers. They were still great throughout the busy time. The food was great. Their sambhar always has a great taste to it. In total, it’s definitely a great place to visit. They provide a variety of options and the food can be customized to your preferences. The only problem is that they’re understaffed in the serving area.

Typical south indian style restaurant. They have a huge portion in a dish. Best Sambhar I have ever had in Toronto. Dahi vada is also a good try if you’re fond of sweet yogurt. They provide their special Podi chutney with every dish.nnMust try: Spring Masala Dosa
The atmosphere was nostalgic, it filled with South Indian vibes, starting from God painting and sculpture to the plate they’re giving was also conceptually made- we ordered podi idli and it served in plate designed as leaf, see my attached photos.nnWe’ve been treated so politely by ‘Saksham’, some of the dishes were new to us and he really explained the difference well. I don’t see any downsides as service point of view- all the working staff, although they’re students, were amazing!! nnOne of the best South Indian taste they’ve in GTA area, from podi idli starter to main course of various delicious Dosa to heavy loaded my favourite Mango lassi!! Sambhar is the thing I always look for when dine for dosa, it’s simply authentic. Must try this location if you’re planning to have South Indian items and vibes.
Visited today for dinner with family and overall it is same except a thumbs down for two factors:nn1 The potato in masala was half cooked as same had to be crushed by hand as half cooked as shown on photo.nn2 All four chutneys were good. The sambhar served was not upto mark and taste or flavor. It was piping hot when served and somehow seemed as not freshly prepared. Something was amiss in sambhar.nSo in this visit after 2 years, our experience was not matching earlier food standards. Ordered masala dosa, kids chocolate dosa and gobi 65.nnTo add to this we relished their thali but leant it's now available only from 11 to 3 pm and not in evenings. Another hiccup.nnBelow is my review experienced 2 years ago.nnThis unit is exemplary both in food, customer service and interiors decoration and ambience from other outlets.nnOrdered varied South Indian items and each were upto the mark. The decorative pieces and interiors display is fabulous.nnA small input on their Annnalaxmi thali. Though mix and items are enough , the subji/ vegetables are spoonful!nnElse a good joint to enjoy both food and venue with family and friends.nnEnjoy.
