Great place to walk the dogs . Nice big forest and fenced in dog park.
Fantastic little walking spot, with a large fenced in dog park for both large and small dogs right beside. Always lots of people and dogs there, but make sure your dogs are on lead though as you will get huge fines if they are running loose like we used to all let them do in the old days.
Awesome place to bring your dog. Our pup loves it here. We've never come across an aggressive dog or a nasty owner. Everyone is so nice and loves stopping to talk while the dogs play with each other. Another bonus is that even with tons of dogs each day, you'll rarely find poop on the ground. Everyone does a great job at picking up after their dog. You'll also see abandoned cars throughout.
Great dog friendly trail but if it has been raining be aware it is going to be VERY wet and muddy. Also mosquitos will eat you alive. Other than that my dog loves it. There is also a dog park right next to it.
Best dog park in the area!! It is huge. Dogs are friendly. Dog owners are lovely to chat to.
There's a fenced area for dogs, and a walk through the woods. Great place but kinda chaotic because a lot of people don't seem to recognize that their dogs are aggressive. So. Nice place but very busy and lots of crazy dogs with owners who seem to have no clue.
Terrible! There are 2 areas: - Fenced in area where dogs are allowed to be off-leash no problem here - Trail in the woods, where in theory, dogs should be on leash or their owners face a 100$ fine. The reality is, almost all dogs are off leash. In our 5 minutes there, we saw 6 dogs off leash, and only one on leash. One unleashed male dog immediately tried to mount our leashed female, freaking her out, with neither apology or attempt to control their dog from the owner. Unleashed dog owners have effectively taken over the area.
Great to walk your dog!
Good place if you want to take a walk in the forest. There are mutiple paths of different lenghs for you to choose from. However, you can easly get lost. Especially in the winter since the trails are not well defined. It also becomes really muddy in the fall and certain trails are flooded in the winter. I would strongly suggest not to bring your dog in the trails even though it is allowed. Contaminated dog food has been left along some trails. Dogs that have eaten it have gotten sick.
If you are a dog owner you'll probably not benefit from my review. I visited last week after a snow storm on my own. I was excited as from the reviews beloe it seemed like an amazing place. It is in fact a very beautiful ancient woodland.. However... i was jumped on agressively twice by a pack of dogs not on their leashes... I was so happy i didn't bring my 3 year old son... He would have been terrified... And these were big dogs... On my 20 minute walk cut short from disgust i saw 4 of those small poop bags dumped on the ground... And it had recently snowed so these were recent deposits... The beautiful snow was smeared throughout the wood with yellow pee... I mean everywhere... There is no way your kids could enjoy the snow on this walk... Then when i reached the actual dog Parc the pee tracks, dumped doggie bags and standoff s between disagreeing dogs was all a bit too much... I imagine it's worse in the summer.. Alas i think I'll stick with the beautiful terra cotta park in pointe claire... until dog owners clean up their act at angel woods.
