Angel's Drive In

Came here with a friend to try out their burger and sides. We ordered a Salisbury burger, small curly fries, and 3 mac & cheese bites to share. The house-made mushroom sauce in the burger was very delicious and filled with flavours. The sauteed onions added a nice touch. The burger patty was a bit on the thin side and not super juicy. Curly fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. Mac and cheese bites were ok with lots of cheese sauce. We received very good service from our server, who offered to cut our burger in half for easy sharing. The restaurant had a very unique decor, from the car on rooftop to the records on the ceiling. I would recommend everyone to come check it out at least once but come back more if you enjoy the food. They have lots of milkshake favours to choose from for a warmer day.

Always wanted to check this place out, found myself in the area around supper time so did just that. This place is buzzing, lots of families and patrons and cool cars outside. I can totally understand why families like this place. There are items for everyone and prices are very reasonable. In fact they have sandwich items for less than $6! Burgers average around $6-$8. I went for the Denver sandwich and added bacon to it everything is better with bacon!. It was a chock full of Denver goodness and very tasty. Paired it with a real fruit milkshake that was super think and delicious! My daughter had the crispy chicken sandwich and it had a very tasty breaded cutlet. The curly fries were nicely seasoned and crispy and the portion was more than enough! Our only gripe is we’re not fans of large buns and felt the choice of bun threw off the meat to bun ratio for my liking. Overall, good experience in a family/community friendly restaurant. Worth a stop to try.

The milkshakes are out of this world good and they will probably be our go-to milkshakes. My son order the bubblegum and was in heaven. My husband ordered the rum butter. Which I tried, and it was gone so fast I barely got to taste it. The mozza burger puts other burgers to shame. The cheese was plentiful, the bacon thick and the sauce was amazing. The crispiness of the char on the burger was a perfect contrast to the amazingly soft bun. We will have to take it easy at this place or we might end up 400lbs!

This was recommended by google listed at #4 for the best hamburger. It was our first time eating at Angels and here’s my review. Customer service was amazing except for one girl that seemed annoyed that I asked for ice and I questioned why was my drink not filled up. She said my order came with that size of drink. The hamburger was a good size and a very generous amount of fries. The hamburger patty was tasty, personally it had too much of a bun and loaded with mayonnaise. I would love to go back to Angels and order something else from the menu since the bowness hamburger wasn’t a favourite. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Check them out. A friendly bunch.

Straight out of the movies, Angel's Drive In is what you have always dreamt a burger place should be. The atmosphere is straight out of a 70s movie, the staff is friendly smiling ready to take your order, and the burger... The burger is out of this world! Juicy real meat, extra big size, true taste. I drove 30 minutes to get there and I will do it again....

The food is really good. Ordered a Mushroom burger and Bowness burger. The Pat’s chili is good too. Always drive pass this restaurant but didn’t get to go in and try the food.

This was a lovely visit. The places definitely gives off a retro vibe that's definitely very photo friendly. Customer service was superb and the food tastes good and proved very reasonably. Will definitely visit again to try other things on the menu

Old school diner with drive-thru,dine in and takeout options. A charming place with friendly staff. The food is good, had the cheeseburger,grilled and breaded chicken. All really tasty. Fries were crispy and tasty. The hard ice cream was also great but the cone was a little stale. A bit pricy but well worth a visit!!!

At first, I was going to write a bad review they forgot items in our order. I took a bite of the food and my opinion changed fairly quick. The mac and cheese fried bites and poutine were delicious!! I wouldn’t recommend ordering any of their sandwiches off skip. Unfortunately it was extremely soggy. I’m sure they’re delicious fresh though!

I ordered the Bowness combo. The food is fresh but seemed a bit underwhelming. More bun than burger, and not a lot of sauce on the burger. It was a solid ok but didn't inspire me to want more, or to go back soon. They happen to be out of Pepsi so you had to choose something else, or pay to upgrade to a milkshake of course. If paying with debit, I don't like how the tip option is pressured into the customer! Parking: A limited parking lot is available.
