Andaaz was an unexpected treat! First the food was absolutely terrific. In fact we ended up ordering extra dishes to sample everything they had to offer. Also, the staff were excellent and attentive to all our needs. Would definitely recommend stopping here while in Jasper!
Posting this review to go down the memory lane . The best Indian restaurant in the Jasper. Reservation recommended. This place is damn busy on weekends. We learned our lesson standing hours in line. The goat curry is must must try. Onion pakora was tasty and crispy .. not oily at all . The service is fast and the servers are polite. A complete steal for the food quality is being offered here The location is great.. a negative star for the ambiance.. it is good but I think it can be better though.
It was a great experience to have pure authentic Indian food. The staff, servers and the restaurant owners were really amazing. I don’t have words to describe our visit to the restaurant. Surely recommend for people who might be looking for authentic Indian food. Yes, above all I will never forget the cup of tea, specially made and served in Indian style. Keep it up.
My husband and I love Indian food so when I read about this restaurant, I made a reservation for 8 pm on the last night that we were in Jasper. The restaurant called me the day before to apologize that they hadn't realized when we talked that they had booked a large group of 40 people. They asked if we could eat outside or move our reservation to 7 pm. My family wanted to eat inside and we had already planned our activities for the next day, so we couldn't move our reservation. The restaurant assured us that they would make it work. We had a wonderful dinner where we ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, garlic naan, parotta, and rice. The service was great and the pricing was a lot more reasonable than what we pay at home. Parking: Parking in this area is all paid parking. To pay, you need to scan a QR code that is posted on the signs in the area.
Camping in Whistler and after a day of activities this is the place that satisfies. Went an hour before closing, no wait. Our server was so nice, explained everything we asked about. Had 3 mango lassis, a samosa dish, chicken tandoori, a cheese paneer, and a crispy thin appetizer with mango chutney, sorry cant remember the name. Best naan ever and I'm even comparing to Devon st in Chicago.
We were really craving this and it was absolutely fulfilling! Everything was delicious, served quite quickly and the service was super friendly. The portions are also filling, one main dish is enough for 1 person if complemented with an appetizer or side. The place is clean and spacious, they have a good number of tables, it's good for a casual lunch or family lunch/dinner. We went at opening time on a Thursday, so there were tables empty for walk ins. We ordered two Samosas, Butter Chicken, Kadhai Paneer, rice and garlic naan. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly, really tasty. The staff was really kind, they gave us Gulab Jamun for dessert, and it really is like a timbit but better. Fried, sweet goodness. As a note, they do have a disclaimer that for groups of 6 and more they will charge a mandatory gratuity of 18%, if it helps anyone reading :
This place is awesome, will become one of my all time favorite restaurants. Our server Rurik was great, he made us feel welcome as well as provided perfect recommendations on menu choices. Must try if you travel to Jasper!
Amazing Indian food! We showed up on a Sunday at 8:30pm and they were very busy. We were told a 20 minute wait but turned out to be only 7 minutes. Not pictured is the paneer pakora that tasted amazing, probably 8 of em! Ask for the tamarind sauce to go with them, you won't regret it. Pictured is the Goat Masala, Chicken Korma and garlic Naan. Amazing Indian, probably in my top 3 lifetime. Don't miss this place!
