The place is beautiful, atmosphere is great. I do not recommend the food...asked for a smoothie .. they had no fruit.. we had asked for muscles... they had none... asked for a salad .. they had no lettuce.. asked for soup they didn't make any...all of which were on the menu.. so we had Deep Fried Mushrooms .. Mozzarella sticks that were cooked so long the cheese was no longer in the center of the stick... we had a spinach dip and hand cut fries... they were corn chips and what seemed to be nuked spinach dip from a can... Server was ok... she was nice but did not come back to ask us how our food was... Nice place to sit for a drink ... I don't recommend the food...
Food was ok , nothing special especially for the price, the toasted garlic bread was a dinner roll with butter and not toasted, seafood fettuccine was plain and simple with what seemed to be frozen seafood chowder mix instead of fresh seafood. Waitress was awesome and atmosphere was great. I am sure other menu items are probably better. After bringing back our take out pizza and spinach Dip with homemade chips , it was even worse than the meal. Avoid this place , go across the Highway to Wild Roots , we had supper there the night before , atmosphere was nothing fancy but the meal was outstanding. Your friend on a Road trip
Delicious food, the friendliest staff, a lovely atmosphere. We had oysters delicious!, steak, and halibut with lobster cream sauce and baked potatoes. Dessert was a vanilla bean creme brûlée which was the perfect finish! So amazing, will definitely be back!
A pleasure to finally have a chance to go in and enjoy the ambiance of this establishment. Love the entire feel of this place and the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Great job in customer service. As far as the food goes, the fish itself was cooked perfect, however the breading was not staying on the fish when cutting it to eat a piece. Something is lacking in the binding to the batter process. Maybe the fish was not completely dry or thawed completely. The fries were tasty for a non fresh fry. I would definitely go back but will try other dishes instead of the fish. Overall, I recommend a visit to Anchored Grounds.
The worst place I ever ate at. The service is great but the price you pay for what you get is absolutely horrible. We got a appetizer platter that cost us $17 plus tax and when they brought it to our table it consisted of 4 onion rings, 3 mozzarella sticks and 1 deep fried pickled chopped up into 4 little medallions. Absolutely ridiculous ! Also got a chicken wrap with substituted macaroni salad and got billed $25 for that. It was no bigger than a Tim Hortons wrap and two dollarama sized ice cream scoops of macaroni salad. Absolutely worst bang for your buck for food at this place. What is worse is the brewery down the road is a better bang for your buck to get drunk
Great place to go for an evening of entertainment. The coffee is great and so is the food. I go there at least twice a week.
Attending lately for Alexandra's karaoke on Thursdays . The food is marvelous and their staff is very thorough . Large selection from local breweries and their coffee's are amazing. We are now regular customers
Drink menu is large and hard to miss. Would definitely recommend the Coffee Shake, get the flavour depending on your palette!
What a diamond in the rough. It is beautifully decorated, clean and incredibly friendly staff and owners. The fish and chips were a completely unexpected delight and probably the best I've ever had. The coffee was very fresh and amazingly friendly atmosphere
A good experience on a rainy evening. Excellent food, two of our group had a small haddock which was two nicely coated pieces of fish and fries, one had a huge portion of chicken parm and the fourth Hadassah pizza, all delicious.
