This was my first time dining in at a Persian restaurant. The service was great and I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients. I had the appetizer platter and enjoyed everything. The eggplant dip was my favourite. The bread that came with was so fresh and airy. For mains, we ordered the lamb shank and the beef tenderloin kebab. Both were delicious! The lamb was melt off the bone tender and the sauce was so good. The beef was so tender it kind of reminded me of the texture of pork. The Persian lemonade went really well with dinner. Definitely a gem in Steveston and I will be returning!
The flavours! The atmosphere! All so perfect! We got the tasting plate, and the eggplant dip for starters. Wow, was that a good dinner. Service was on spot, quick and friendly, and the place was nice and cozy being in a home like atmosphere. Will definitely come again to enjoy the various flavours!
Ordered lunch specials here. Fairly priced and good portions. The meats were super juicy. I'm no expert on Persian food but I really enjoyed trying all the new flavors of their cuisine. Also the waitress was very friendly and patiently explained the dishes to us.
A new discovery in the city. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historical building. The place is cozy and suitable for spending quality time with family or couples. It is small in size and seats are limited. The food is great, the dolma isn't the best but the grills and meat dishes are excellent.
We stopped here for take out before we headed to the airport. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced for the generous portion size. The inside of the restaurant was charming and seemed like a nice place to have a meal. We will definitely be coming back.
One of the best Persian restaurants in whole BC, even compared to those in North Vancouver. The chief is from North of Iran. North of Iran is famous for their olives and pickles, as well as their Mirza Ghasemi. So, give these items a shot. You won’t regret it. The drinks we ordered were prepared perfectly. The food was amazing, pretty much authentic, like what you will receive in restaurants in Iran. And the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking at Persian food and I wish they had delivery to Vancouver!
The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were so friendly and provided us great recommendations from the menu, as we are not experienced with Persian food. Their kabobs were juicy and flavourful, and the salad was so fresh. Everything we ordered was delicious!
Found this place out of the blue and enjoyed the food. Seems like a family owned restaurant. Service is fast and friendly although the outdoor seating has very uneven surfaces. I don't generally eat Persian food and don't know it enough to comment so will leave this review as such for now.
Great food. Had the curry chicken as the main. They earned me or was spicy and it was! Very good though.The full menu is halal. Vegetarian options: Well labeled menu with many options. Parking: Easy street parking. Dietary restrictions: Halal. Well labeled for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free.
Nice Persian restaurant with very friendly staff and quick service. I tried the Zereshk Polo ba Morgh and the chicken was fantastic. Great flavour and the chicken was literally falling off the bone. The rice and salad were slightly better than average. Unfortunately, the baklava was disappointing in flavour, texture and quantity. The favour and cook of the chicken along with the better service are the reasons for a 4 star rating instead of 3. Overall, this restaurant would be fine for a lunch or dinner with family or friends.
