Food is great! But the lady that welcomes guests puts way too much perfume. It is bothering when she comes by the tables to check you are doing OK. Perfumes and restaurants do not go well together! Furthermore, the man that serves the wine wipes of the drop with his fingers: no class whatsoever.

The food is great, the service is even better and the ambience ties everything together. I haven't been there in some time, but I would say their food is amongst the best for all restaurants in Ottawa. It is a small place, yet very quaint and small means less ambient noise and thus usually a more enjoyable dinning experience. There is no question that is has risen to one of my favourite restaurants in Ottawa, and I will be back quite definitely again.

This was our first time at Amuse. One word - WOW! The food was absolutely amazing. My wife and I wanted to try more, the three dishes we had - crab cake, pear salad, and pickerel cheaks - were phenomenal! - but we couldn't eat another bite. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amuse.

My husband took me here for Valentine’s Day and it was just a perfect evening! Best dinner out in years. From the amuse bouche to the yummy duo dessert and everything in between it was delish. The plates were as delicious as they were beautiful. Nothing like it on this side of the city. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner or girls night out. Can’t wait to go back!

First time dinning there. Service was fantastic. We had 7 sharing plates and every single one was unbelievable Hats off to the chef. We will definitely be dining there soon
