Got harassed in a car going in another country. I was alone with two men who were making comments making me feel super uncomfortable the whole time. I told AmigoExpress about it. No callback until I call back again months later to tell them about this story so this driver and the passenger doesn't repeat that with someone else. They said they cannot promise anythingabout deleting/banning them and offered me a 5$ coupon for reservation on next booking. That 5$ doesn't even cover the "reservation fee" to do prior booking anyway. WHAT A JOKE. Please for your safety do not use amigoexpress. I use facebook groups and choose legitimate accounts.
Disapppointing AmigoExpress is a great service with lots of potential. However, the management and service however is horrible. I am writing this message after over 15 year of carpooling because I have accumulated a dozen bad experiences with management's lack of response when I have had issues with passengers for ex. being late, not paying or no-shows. I had a no-show and left them 2 telephone messages for a call back, noted it on the website and ticked the box for a call back and even spoke to an agent that said they would call me back. NOTHING as usual! They are all talk and no action. Management follow-up is inexistent and they never follow thru with action when passengers get out of hand. I do not trust their word unfortunately and will give Popa Ride a try! Update: I guess that the fact that you are now asking me to call you after my complaint that you never followed-up demonstrates your lack of initiative. If you were truly dedicated to your clients you would have looked up my profile and called me!!! That seems to be the culture of your enterprise unfortunately. Your phone must weigh 50 pounds if you still haven't gathered the effort & initiative to call and follow-up with the failings of your service. You are not dedicated or serious with your service. It's just about optics.
Drivers are late, text and drive, and drive below the speed limit on highways...the service is getting worse as the prices go up.
1 out of 2 drivers was very very rude. The service of the website was ok as well half of the trip but 1 driver was impressively rude. I urge amigo express to have a tight policy on driver's behavior. ...and it was actually the driver's fault in all the situation because he didn't answer any of my calls prior nor he didn't bother to call back the number that left a gazillion of missed calls and after that, he got angrier than he could contain it. That is also a security issue not just bad presentation.
Worst customer service experience. Representatives are not adequately trained. Hidden fees will have you pay more than you think. They can't refund or compensate you if you're a student and make a mistake when creating your account. Use pop a ride instead. Same service without the headache. WILL NEVER USE AMIGO OR KANGARIDE EVER AGAIN
My friends are sharing vehicles with Amigo Express. I have not got chance to have experience yet.
Please use Poparide In my opinion, it’s ridiculously expensive to use Amigo Express. You have to take a yearly membership PLUS they will charge 5$ plus taxes to each passenger and driver for each trip. Why? To use their website!!! They are just taking advantage of the fact that they don’t have competitors.
When you go to see prices to book a ride and apply for credits, be careful when u register because there are extra fees for memebership that are not well indicated. And it is impossible to get reembursed, even if you are a student and would not have needed to pay those fees!
How amigo express's deficit is too big that they can't keep up with it! Be careful! This company has absolutely no reimbursement policy. It just CAN'T reimburse anything no matter the situation! That happened to me, and let me tell you, it's not funny to lose $20. They say it would put them too much in a deficit to reimburse me that. Poor them really! They are soon poor!! I feel so sorry for them. Because I make 10.50 an hour. I make so much more than them! So sorry!
