Amazing food! Very authentic Asian food. I ordered the orange chicken, cream cheese wontons, wonton soup, pork fried rice, and Mongolian beef! You can taste the freshness of the orange in the orange chicken. Their wonton soup was the best in town. Such amazing topping and flavor to the broth. Everything tastes amazing. All their dishes were very fresh and delicious. Food prices were reasonable too. I would definitely come here again! Plus the staff were so friendly and nice.
Some of the best Asain food I have had! The portions were generous and all the food was great, loved the egg rolls and cream cheese wontons. The side of chicken fried rice was also great, full of chicken and veggies.Food: 5/5
I tried the House Pad Thai. The veggies and meat were all cooked well. I want more from the pad Thai sauce. More fish sauce? It was a pretty large portion so maybe it would be different if you dined in Based on the signs, it looks like new ownership around Fall 2022 or Jan 2023 date on takeout menu. Reviews prior to that may not need as applicable and worth a try if you're through here.
Amian has new ownership; food quality has improved dramatically under the new owners. The orange chicken we ordered for takeout was fabulous, the best I've ever had. The egg rolls were terrific.
I door dashed food from here, and the helpings were HUGE. It was very filling and the food was AMAZING! I think I found my newest Asian good restaurant! My whole family all loved it. Definitely worth every penny I spent! P.s. the cream cheese wontons are a little sweet I personally don't mind but my mother is very picky so if that matters to anyone there's your answer
We have been looking for awesome, local Asian options. Our go-to was always The Village Wok when we lived in Saint Paul, but after they closed in Stadium Village a few years ago — we have been seeking other awesome venues. NOTE: There’s a sign in the window that says “under new management” and the health department license shows it’s effective 1/1/2023 so I can’t speak for the former owners, so perhaps consider that when looking at older reviews under old management. Tonight we ordered takeout for the first time. We had 3 entrees and two appetizers. General Tso’s tofu: fantastic crispy tofu, covered in a savory barbecue-like sauce. Perfect texture, not soggy or overcooked. Crispy vegetable spring rolls: excellent, smaller than a standard egg roll, with finely-chopped vegetable filling. Vegetable lo mein: bright noodles, with a slight smoky char from the hot pan. Garlic, fresh onion, mushroom, broccoli, bean sprouts, carrots. Chicken egg foo young: three dumplings, with a brown gravy. Very good, but we wished it came with a bit more gravy. Donuts: fun addition, with 9ish fresh donuts coated in cinnamon sugar. The serving sizes are absolutely generous, served in clamshell containers, rather than paper boxes. Easily 12-16oz per entree. Large portion of fresh rice to accompany the tofu and the egg foo young. We’ll definitely be ordering again, and we are happy this is so close to is in Hugo. Vegetarian options: Dozens of vegetarian options and tofu Parking: Large shared parking lot with other businesses; well-lit Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair accessible parking and the entrance has no curb ramp obstructions
I agree with other reviews. It is hard to find good Asian food. This appears to be a mom and pop type place that really does have good food. We had pan fried potstickers gyoza, their spicy sour soup, golden garlic flounder and sweet and sour pork. Service was great and very personable. Would be great take out or dine in as we did.
First time eating takeout at this restaurant and I'm not impressed. My sesame chicken was overcooked and hard, tasted kind of burnt. My Eggrolls were over cooked as well in the deep fryer. Was quoted 15 minutes and 40 minutes later my food was finally ready... lastly the portion was very small for almost $10 in price. Might try it again sometime to give them another chance but not anytime soon...
My wife and I stopped in and had the Kung Pao original and the egg foo young. It was really good, big portions, and great service.
Very good food and dinner specials were priced fair. The chiken fried rice was good. Oddly the star was the garlic and herb chicken breat that was ordered at our table. Great flavor that was paired well with great veggies and potatos. Will eat here again
